Story
Say Hello to Dorothy❤️‍🔥, A Social Butterfly from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz 🐶 Our Dorothy is an explorer. She loves to see the world and to investigate new and interesting smells by having her nose to the ground during her walk. Dorothy is considerate. Even to her friends who approach her mischievously, Dorothy is playful and invites them to play. Dorothy is not shy away expressing her love. When you are spending time with her neighbour longer than expected (in her opinion), Dorothy actively reaches out to you through the hole of her crate and let you know to hurry. It is irresistible when Dorothy rests her head on your shoulder and meets your eyes. Like Dorothy in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” our Dorothy is compassionate and courageous. She will bring good luck and charm to your life. Could you open your heart and home to this lovely girl?

Story
Meet AVO 💕 who was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse. He is a little vocal in his cage, but he's just trying to get someone to give him some attention. Because every time we open his cage door, He stops barking and looks at us like a silent boy as if he never barked.😂 Avo is very excited seeing people but just wanted to engage and play. He was silly and playful, but did pull quite a bit. He's an active baby! He wanted to say to just about everyone!🖐 Wherever he goes, Avo brings joy. People cannot help but pet him! He's now in a professional training center so that he can learn basics. He's ready to be your family!!

Story
Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Those gorgeous eyes! Rafa and his sister Cashew were surrendered to Seattle Animal Shelter. They were well cared for pups surrendered to the shelter for unknown reasons. Rafa is male and about 90 lbs now. His sister Cashew has gone to a foster to adopt home already. Rafa was in a foster to adopt home, but the potential adopter wasn't able to give this boy the training he needs for those times when he needs to be alone. This dog bonds quickly to his person and has an adorable silly side. He would love to explore the outdoors with you and loves all dogs big and small. He is a SWEETHEART. If you are looking for a whole lotta dog who wants nothing more than to snuggle with a loving person or family and go on adventures, Rafa just might be your boy. If you would like to meet Rafa, send us an email: resilientheartsanimalsanctuary@gmail.com And please be patient. We have one adoption coordinator doing his best to coordinate adoptions for many pups. ================================================= WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS. IF YOU SEND AN EMAIL THROUGH PETFINDER WE WILL NOT RESPOND. If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt Rafa, please send us an email at resilientheartsanimalsanctuary@gmail.com and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible! Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW! Story
Meet the most beautiful and loving bonded pair. Tucker is 6 and Dublin is 3 years old. Tucker is a Catahoula/Doberman and Dublin is a German Shepard/Great Pyrenees/Rhodesian Ridgeback, such amazing mixes! These handsome boys are playful and friendly and absolutely love each other. They love humans and love to chew on toys, go for walks and runs, and have playtime. They are very loving and already trained on pretty much everything! We are not sure they’ve spent time with a cat. We will work hard to find the most wonderful family for these bonded boys as they should not be separated. They love each other too much! Gentle kids only and if you have a yard, that would be amazing. They're neutered, updated on shots, and chipped. Their adoption fee is $595. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
