Story
I am currently fostering "Coco" in Roseville, Ca. She is 5 years old and a great dog. She comes from a home where she was raised with other dogs, a cat, chickens, and kids. She has a typical Rottweiler attitude and wants to protect her family and property & can be very vocal about it. I hope to find Coco a new home with people who will love her and treat her well. I love her dearly, but cannot keep her permanently. She is happiest when allowed to be indoors (or alongside) with her humans, as well as having a yard to play in. A large yard or property would be great for her. I don't believe she would do well by herself for extended periods of time. She craves attention from her "person" and wants to be near them. My terrier is too small to be a good playmate for her, she currently weighs 105# and doesn't know her own strength. Coco detests squirrels and lizards. She likes to ride in the car. She has not been properly leash trained and I doubt a dog park woud be a good idea.

Story
Ninja is a sweet, silly, and loving girl. She does well with adults who can provide structure and attention. She loves to cuddle and give plenty of licks. Ninja knows basic commands and is crate trained but does not typically sleep in her crate. Ninja loves to go on daily walks that aren’t too long. She also likes to play outside and fetch for balls or other toys. Ninja gets overly excited around small children which has caused nipping incidents. She has also shown aggression to dogs who have shown aggression towards her. Ninja is typically fine with dogs who are more docile. It is best that she is in a loving home with no children and no other pets.

Story
Adopting this sweet girl will be a true rescue. She needs a gentle experienced hand. First she lived with dogs who picked on her, then with people who were not able to attend to her needs. She is now being fostered. At between one and two years old she is unsocialized, eager to please and fearful. With consistency, positive training and a sense of belonging her personality will emerge. For now she is submissive and unsure of much in her environment. We suggest an adult household experienced with timid dogs. We are currently working on scheduling medical evaluation and spaying. When walking she is reactive to strange large dogs. However one on one with another dog her size or smaller, she seems to want to be friends. She sticks to people like glue and wants one of her own. Lots of potential here. With time and care she is certain to be a loyal loving companion. We will update this space as we know her better.

Story
Sampson is a 3 year old fabulous Boxer. Recently, Sampson has started fighting with my 7 year old Aussie. I cannot have an aggressive dog as I have kids in the home who I cannot risk getting in the way. 90% of the time he is FINE. He gets along with other dogs at the dog park without issue. He plays with my 6 month old aussie puppy wonderfully. He is FULL of energy love and playfulness. He loves snuggles on the bed at night but will sleep in his crate when told bedtime. He loves to play fetch or tug-o-war. He loves to RUN! He is in need of a home with an active partner in crime that can give him the time, love, exercise that he deserves. Sampson is a LOVE!!! He cuddles. He is curious! He will give kisses if you let him. He will sit on command but only for a few moments because his body needs to get moving. HE is SMART! He can access a button to tell you he is hungry or needs to go outside. He needs attention! and LOTS of it! He needs EXERCISE daily and a lot of it.

Story
Meet Bear! This 3-year-old Dobie mix is sweet, rambunctious, and has personality to boot! We rescued him because he was on the chopping block at Riverside County Shelter and after meeting him and seeing his lovable demeanor, we could not risk leaving him behind. Bear has a lame hind leg that he doesn't like standing on, but he doesn't let it stop him at all from being a normal, active, and playful dog! According to the vet, he had an old pelvic fracture that healed incorrectly causing some unevenness, and while no surgery can fix it, he could probably benefit from some hydrotherapy/acupuncture. Bear is very friendly with other dogs and plays really well, but he also clearly hasn't had any obedience training. We've been working on some basic obedience and crate training for him, and we'd love to find him a patient and kind home that can dedicate some time to helping him thrive! He's both goofy and smart, and will make an extremely loyal companion.
