Meet Snickers!Snickers is naturally playful and loving. He prefers to stick to someone like velcro until it`s time for a nap. He tells us he wants affection by nudging our hands while standing or laying his head on our knees when we sit. He loves everyone, especially kids, and wants to be friends with other dogs—and even cats. When playing, he`s very gentle! He won`t bite his toys hard enough to squeak, but is awed when we squeak it for him. He LIVES for walks. Because he`s smart, he learns commands quick and we`re working on teaching them to him!

Brussell came to the shelter as a stray on 11/19/25 and is a high-energy, social, and playful dog. He gets along with other dogs, though he can be a bit pushy, he is steerable and responds well to guidance. His youthful energy can come across as a little obnoxious at times, but he is eager to interact and explore. Brussell would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and engagement to keep him happy and fulfilled.

This beautiful sweet girl wandered onto our property and immediately followed my husband around and made herself at home. We have 3 large huskies that don’t bother her. We also have cats around that she was friendly with. I have teenagers as well and she is just as sweet as can be. She has been staying in our man cave and waits to be let out to relieve herself. She does bark but not inappropriately. She doesn’t seem to have a harsh bone in her body.

Sweetie was surrendered after she had nine pups. The couple was going through a divorce. She was skin and bones, had an infection, and hook worms. We got her into the vet immediately and on antibiotics. She has finished her meds and worm treatment. Ruby will surprise you in every way. She was listed as a lab mix, however her DNA says she is mostly Rottweiler and Catahoula Leopard Dog. What a great breed mix if you are looking for a guard dog that is full of hound and always has her nose to the ground when she is outside. She is very well behaved, knows every command even non verbal hand signals. She will retrieve a ball or toy all day and bring it right back to you and drop it at your feet. She loves to play with her toys and will throw them up in the air bounce them off her back and still catch them. We rescued her from the shelter on a foster to adopt trial basis to make sure she would be good with the cat. They loved each other from the first sight.
