Wes is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing 70 pounds. He is very affectionate and friendly with people, but he is still learning to get along with other dogs. So he would need a home as the only pet. He should be great with kids. His adoption donation is $250, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is currently in a foster home, but he has to find his Forever Home very soon. We are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Meet Jaxx: a smart, loyal dog looking for an experienced and loving home. I adopted Jaxx during the COVID 19 pandemic after losing my German Shepherd, Sam. He came into my life at a time of loss and became a steady, loyal companion. Jaxx is extremely intelligent and knows his core commands, like sit, down, stand, and heel, and he genuinely enjoys mental challenges like hide-and-seek and treat puzzles. Indoors, Jaxx is calm, well-mannered, and relaxed, with only normal excitement at the door. He does very well with my daughter’s tiny 2yr old Morkie, showing he can coexist peacefully with small dogs. Outside, Jaxx can be reactive and needs a patient, confident handler who understands guidance and consistency. Rehoming Jaxx is not a decision I’ve made lightly. I am leaving the country, and he deserves a stable home with someone who can help him thrive. Jaxx learns quickly, bonds deeply, and will be an incredibly devoted companion to the right person.

Sweetie was surrendered after she had nine pups. The couple was going through a divorce. She was skin and bones, had an infection, and hook worms. We got her into the vet immediately and on antibiotics. She has finished her meds and worm treatment.
