Weight: 70 lbsThis distinguished gentleman is Drogon.Drogon is adapting well to the retired life, but don't let his age fool you. He loves his outdoor time. Fetch is one of his absolute favorite pass times. He also is down for being a couch potato binge watching Netflix. Drogon has done well with all men and women he has met here at the shelter. He is sure to greet you everyday with the cutest wiggly butt. He loves head scratches, treats, toys, and all the praise and baby talk you give him. He has lived with a cat and another dog. He can however be protective of his food. Same Drogon! Same! The behavior team is requiring all kids in the home must be over 12. Also, all dogs in the home must come in and meet with him. Please come in and meet this sweet boy, and adopt him today!

Story
Bosco is a 14 week old Hound mix. He must have had a rough start because he has taken a while to act like a puppy. He loves playing with other dogs and I think it shows him how a dog should act so I think he should be in a house with at least one other dog. He loves being outside and exploring. He will chase a ball outside and play more outside. He has not been around cats, so I do not know how he would do. I would recommend he is adopted by someone with children over the age of 12, not because he is aggressive by any means, he just seems more fearful of younger children. Bosco will need decompression time at his new home! It MAY take a couple of weeks for him to feel comfortable in a new place with new people. He is NOT aggressive with new people at all. He feels very comfortable in his crate with the door open, especially when the kids are playing around. He will need a family that is willing to be patient and work with him to help him build connections and confidence. He may hide for the first couple of days. Socialization and puppy classes would be very beneficial. After many weeks he will now lick me and let me pet him after I let him smell me. He has come a long way, and I think he will turn out just as awesome as his smart, loving brother with time and the right person. He does really well going potty outside. He hasn’t had an accident in a long time, but we take him out regularly. We are also working on walking on a leash and he is getting better! He actually doesn’t chew on much at all, I wonder if that will change as he continues to warm up. He is crate trained and will sometimes go in there by himself and lay. He needs to have a crate or a place to feel safe. He is in there around 9 hours at night and does fine. He will go lay down(go to his crate) when told. Fenced yard required! He is fully vetted and looking for a loving home! We adopt within a 4 hour radius of Toledo, OH Our adoption fee is $400 Fully vetted including neuter, puppy vaccines, bordetella, flea & tick treated, heartworm prevention, de-wormed, and microchipped

Story
Hi there, I'm Dusse, and I am 2 years old! I am a sweet, sweet boy! I am a pretty playful and curious guy that loves to go on walks as much as I love to try and snuggle into your lap for a fat nap. I really enjoy playing with toys, especially ones that squeak and are durable enough for me to chew on for quite some time! I do take some time to warm up to new people, but when I realize we're friends, I am a big ball of love! I am a staff favorite around here, but that is supposed to be a secret between you and me... I would do well in a home with kids, and I am the type of loyal dog that will protect them with my life. I hope you'll come meet me today! Some quick facts about me: Not Cat Friendly Dog Selective Kid FriendlyLikely housetrainedSweet, playful boyWeight: 74 lbsIntake Date: 01/07/2024Reason: Could no longer afford / take care ofGive the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! Story
Hi guys and gals, I'm Brutus and I am 5 years old! I am a sweet and fun dude that loves to just hang out with you! I am here at the shelter because I was an outdoor dog and was chained outside during that really cold weather in January, and my owners wanted to surrender me. Since I am used to being an outdoor dog, sometimes when you hand me really delicious treats, I will hold onto it and bury it, so I can save it for later! I would make a great protection dog outdoors since I have the thick coat for it, or I would love to try and be an indoor dog! Staff thinks I would adjust well to being inside since I am food motivated, which would make it easy for me to learn house manners! I am pretty good on the leash, and I take corrections nicely (sometimes I like to jump to greet you). I would make a great candidate for a household with children and other dogs so that is a bonus for me! I also like to try and play with the power washer, so I could be a dog that loves the water... We'll see!! Please come out to meet me today! Some quick facts about me: Not Cat FriendlyDog FriendlyKid FriendlyHandsome and friendly!
