Story
Lola is a very sweet girl who finds comfort in her stuffed animals and enjoys having cozy companions around. She is high-energy and loves to play, though she does best in a calm environment without other dogs.Lola is not potty trained and cannot jump, and she does have some resource guarding around food and toys, so she would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide structure and patience.Despite her special needs, Lola’s affectionate and loving personality shines through with people she trusts. She has the potential to thrive in a safe, one-on-one environment where she can feel secure and cared for.

Story
Raven is a sweet, loving girl. She is full of energy and loves to play. She is crate trained and house trained(for the most part. She is very smart and loves to explore. Going on walks are still an issue but she is still 4 months old. We got her on December 26th. She wants to play with our cats but they steer clear of her. She is very much a nibbler and biter (not aggressively). I started a new job with different hours and between myself and girlfriend I know Raven isn't getting all the attention she needs and deserves. I would love to rehome her with aa family with kids, other dogs, and a big yard. She will come with dog beds, harness and lease, and many, many toys.

Story
Poppy is a gentle and affectionate 3 hear old. Although a little shy at first, she is a very friendly dog who enjoys being around people and is very well-behaved. Poppy loves to spend her days lounging on the couch and receiving belly rubs, but she also likes to play and have fun. She would make a great addition to a family and would be a wonderful companion. Poppy gets along well with other dogs. Her shelter foster said she loved her kids but we were not told what age the kids are. Poppy weighed 64 pounds at her vet visit a month ago and needed to gain a few pounds. She is heartworm negative, current on vaccines and spayed. Poppy is a lovely dog and anyone would be lucky to have her in their lives. If you are interested in adopting Poppy, please email us with any questions and complete an application! She is fostered in southwest Virginia. *** ADOPTION DETAILS: Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold or too young) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. Story
MAJESTY- Rottie Mix Age 10-12 mo ✔️ Cat friendly ✔️ dog friendly ✔️ critter curious (geese) Majesty came to us scared of everything. She had fear based reactivity. The first two weeks she had to have a leash on in order for us to bring her in and out of the crate for potty breaks. She did not trust humans. Somewhere in her past they let her down. She was a scared puppy that had to have interaction with humans on her own terms. Our vet understood her fear based needs and spent lots of time low on the floor passing out treats, not pushing her boundaries. She has come so far and enjoys canine companionship. She is a follower, not a leader. She has been in my foster care for six months and is ready to find her forever family. Majesty weighs 60 pounds is crate trained . New surroundings she is on the timid side. Anything that is new and unchartered will require extra patience giving her the time to sniff and investigate before she will commit to confidence. We have been able to go to tractor supply happy visits to the vets office where there are no expectations except getting treats. She does good on walks, especially when there’s a companion with her. Best home for her is with another friendly outgoing, dog (s) home, potentially quieter home with older kids that wont force her into their personal space nor hers. She has slept in my room with my other dog. She is an avid agile talented counter surfer. Nothing food related is safe on the counters unattended . 🤦‍♀️She is a thief of the countertops. Foster located in Virginia Beach, Virginia *** ADOPTION DETAILS: Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold or too young) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. Story
Hop is a total love bug who adores being close to his people. Cuddling is his favorite thing, and he’s happiest laying with or on his humans. He loves belly rubs, enjoys being pet anywhere, and would be thrilled to be your constant shadow.Hop enjoys meeting new people and has done great with adults and children alike. He’s gentle, affectionate, and always wagging his tail. He loves tug-of-war with his rope toy and will bring it to you when he’s ready to play—usually followed by a cozy nap in your lap.He is fully potty trained and crate trained, with no accidents in the house or crate. Hop is smart, knows sit, has good house manners, and is still working on leash training, as he gets excited and tends to pull. He enjoys walks and car rides.Hop has a weaker back left leg from a possible past injury, but it doesn’t slow him down or cause him discomfort. He would do best in a home where someone is around often, as he truly loves being with his people. A gentle, loving companion ready for endless cuddles.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Queen, a charming and sassy sidekick who`s equal parts snuggle bug, road trip companion, and toy-loving goofball. She’s all about her people and would happily follow you from room to room, or better yet, hop in the car for your next adventure. Queen is a professional passenger—calm, happy, and convinced that every ride needs her royal presence. She`s also potty trained, crate aware (though she’ll politely bark when she’s ready to come out), and great on leash with just a little pulling when she`s excited. Queen recently took on a 7-mile hike at Eno River State Park and absolutely crushed it. Suspension bridges? No problem. Crowds of school kids? Handled like a pro. She navigated everything with confidence and grace—earning some laughs and a few “Scooby-Doo” comments along the way. At home, Queen is a toy and treat-motivated gal who loves to chew on bones and play with her stash of goodies throughout the day. She gets along well with the calm senior dog in her foster home and minds her business like the classy lady she is. She`s also great with kids, though she prefers to enjoy her meals and bones without interruptionWhile Queen has some minor mobility quirks—likely due to a hip or leg issue—she doesn’t let it slow her down much. She handles steps with care and is happiest on flat ground where she can stay close to you. In the backyard, she’ll stick right by your side and comes when called. Queen is a sweet, spunky, and loyal dog who’s looking for a home where she can be part of the action, soak up affection, and chew to her heart’s content. If you’re searching for a loving, adventurous companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Queen just might be your match!
