Story
Meet Bianca! Age: 6 years old. Breed: rottweiler. Size: 92lbs. Training: crate and leash trained, doing great with house training! Good with dogs/cats? Yes to dogs. We will have to cat test. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: Bianca is very loving, laid back. She is affectionate and eager to please. Bianca is quiet in her crate, and does well on car rides. She does great with kids. She loves to give kisses and leans her heard into you for rubs. Bianca is playful with other dogs. She likes toys. She has been learning how to be a companion. She is a wonderful dog, and her foster family has had a hard time deciding to give her up. They have a very busy life and feel it is best for Bianca to find a loving family that has more to offer her. Reason for rescue: Bianca was brought into the vet to be euthanized by her breeder. Because of her age and no longer wanting to breed, she was going to be killed. Our vet called us and we said we'd take her. Bianca is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Bianca tested positive for heartworms. She does not have any clinical signs and she is currently undergoing the treatment, and will go home with her medications. Our vet believes she will test negative in about 6 months. If you are interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: $125October 6, 2024, 6:39 pm

Story
Hi there, I'm Hashbrown! I'm a medium sized guy at 27 pounds but I still have some growing to do as I'm only 6 months old. While we don't know my exact breed mix, it's possible I have some Doberman or Rottweiler in there; most likely in addition to many other breeds. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, my playful and energetic side comes out. I'm still learning the ropes of house and crate training, but I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I love running around outside and having other playful dogs to wrestle with. I'm also a master at finding moles and grubs in the yard and I'm not afraid of a little mud. I'm a loyal friend who's always ready to lend a paw or a comforting presence. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I promise to be the most loyal, loving, and playful companion you could ever ask for. Adopting me would mean gaining a best friend who's always up for an adventure and ready to bring joy and laughter into your life!Hashbrown has been neutered, microchipped and kept current on vaccines and preventatives. You can email julianshumate@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/julians. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
