Story
Please help Needs a home!! Update - now my grand baby I watch has developed allergies My husband retired military lost his friend/dog of 14 years. So we got another. Tink - as we call her, is very strong in physical agility and yet still as playful and loves attention as a young dog. Even at 10 years old. You wouldn’t know it. Loves to be pet and pampered. We are now having serious back, heart and otherhealth issues that are making it challenging to keep up with Tinkerbell. She is a house companion and has her own space. We take her out on leash to go to bathroom. She is a princess. She is extremely loving dog. She has every shot stays groomed and has been checked out and no cancer no concerns of any kind. Will help any way we can with rehome - doctors food etc. She is around my grandkids (3/6) and a Maltese daily in her space. We have had a hard decision to make but must do this for all involved

Story
Meet Snickers!Snickers is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix who came to us on 5/7/26 and has quickly won over staff with his sweet, goofy personality. Though he can be timid in new situations, Snickers has been opening up more every day and loves spending time playing with his best buddy, Bubba. Snickers has a medium energy level and enjoys outdoor adventures, water play, and hanging out with the people he trusts. He rides well in the car and has been settling into shelter life nicely with patience and encouragement from staff. Snickers would thrive in a home that can continue helping him build confidence at his own pace.He has met other dogs at the shelter and is still learning to feel comfortable around new canine friends, so meet-and-greets with any potential dog housemates are encouraged. Snickers is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start his next chapter with a loving family. Interested in meeting Snickers? Visit the shelter or contact us for more information!

Story
Hello from Juno’s family. First and foremost we are only rehoming Juno due to having our second child. Having 2 under 2 doesn’t afford Juno the same attention. We received our sweet girl in May 2020 from a professional breeder in NC. She was raised in the city so she grew up seeing hundreds of people and cars daily which laid a great foundation of being around people. Juno has the title of being the sweetest Rottweiler in the world by all that meet her. She has had no incidents with dogs or other people and consistently groomed at Petco. We can provide Petco groomers info upon request which can also verify temperament from a 3rd party. She is up-to-date on her shots and recently received a health exam (Feb. 2026) and has no medical issues. She loves to play and cuddle and is well tempered. She is a little smaller for a Rottweiler but still has a protective mindset. If a home is selected we will include her bed, dog feeder and bowl and a bag of dog food. We want her to have great home!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.            Adoption Profile: Meet Ash  Status: Available for Adoption Age: 21 Months Location: Mooresville, NC Health: Ash is fully up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and current on all preventatives. His Journey Ash came to our rescue from a hoarding situation. When he first arrived, he had a very "puppy-like" innocence—not necessarily because of his age, but because he had never truly experienced life or the world around him. Over the last several months, Ash has matured into a stunningly handsome dog. He has moved past that initial puppy phase and has developed a strong, confident personality. He is a dog who knows his own mind, but at his core, he remains an absolute sweetheart who just wants to be loved and be near his people. Social Life & Personality Ash is a social guy who gets along well with other dogs! He is a loyal companion who craves connection. However, due to his background, he does have some specific needs when it comes to "house rules": Food & Treats: Ash can be food aggressive and is not willing to share his meals or treats with other dogs. Potential adopters should be mindful of their fingers during hand-feeding or treat time. Training & Consistency: Through a lot of time and commitment at the rescue, Ash did learn to eat in the same space as other dogs. However, in a new environment with new canine siblings, this training will need to start over from scratch. Mealtime Management: In the beginning, Ash will need to be fed separately. This includes being mindful of him while humans are eating or snacking to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. The Ideal Match Ash has learned and grown so much during his time with us. Because a new home is a big transition, he will need an adopter who understands that his training will need to be reinforced as he adjusts. He is looking for a family that will offer him the structure he needs while giving him all the affection he deserves. If you are looking for a loyal, handsome, and devoted partner, Ash is ready to meet you!
