Story
Meet Rocky — A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Rocky’s journey has been full of ups and downs, but his spirit remains unshaken. He came to Clifford’s Army Rescue in October 2022, just four months old, with a serious knee and hip injury. Thanks to expert care and two major surgeries—knee repair and FHO—Rocky regained use of his leg and blossomed into a happy, healthy pup. In April 2023, Rocky was adopted into what we all hoped would be his forever home. Sadly, after an incident with the family’s other dog, Rocky was injured again and returned to us—not because of anything he did wrong, but out of concern for his safety. Now Rocky is back, and he’s ready to love again. About Rocky: Approximately 70 lbs of pure affection ?Thinks he’s a lap dog (and we won’t argue!) Gets along well with other dogs Walks beautifully on a leash Housetrained and ready to move in Absolutely gorgeous—inside and out Rocky is a love bug who adores people and thrives on companionship. He’s looking for a family who will cherish him and give him the safe, loving home he deserves. Could Rocky be your perfect match? Fill out our online adoption application and let this sweet boy start his next chapter. Absolutely! Here's a clear, condensed, and compassionate version of your **Adoption Recommendations & Procedures** for easier reading and sharing: --- ## ? I go to playgroup here at the shelter!CATS: UnknownHER MATCH: I would be perfect for a family that likes to play, be active, and have so much fun together. Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
