You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Dennis—he’s not a menace! In fact, he’s one of the gentlest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. Likely a Rottweiler and Plott Hound mix, Dennis is about 1–2 years old and has a big heart to match his love for life. His absolute favorite thing? Playing fetch! He’d happily chase toys all day long if he could. Dennis is smart, eager to please, and incredibly loving. With his playful energy and loyal personality, he’s sure to become a cherished companion for someone lucky enough to adopt him. Meet Minka, She is a 4 year old Rottweiler mix. She came in with Lucy. She also is from the Brunswick pound. She weighs 55 lbs. She is also a little shy and confused. But she just needs a little time to adjust. She will be available for adoption on 4/23/26. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.
