Story
Bosco is a 14 week old Hound mix. He must have had a rough start because he has taken a while to act like a puppy. He loves playing with other dogs and I think it shows him how a dog should act so I think he should be in a house with at least one other dog. He loves being outside and exploring. He will chase a ball outside and play more outside. He has not been around cats, so I do not know how he would do. I would recommend he is adopted by someone with children over the age of 12, not because he is aggressive by any means, he just seems more fearful of younger children. Bosco will need decompression time at his new home! It MAY take a couple of weeks for him to feel comfortable in a new place with new people. He is NOT aggressive with new people at all. He feels very comfortable in his crate with the door open, especially when the kids are playing around. He will need a family that is willing to be patient and work with him to help him build connections and confidence. He may hide for the first couple of days. Socialization and puppy classes would be very beneficial. After many weeks he will now lick me and let me pet him after I let him smell me. He has come a long way, and I think he will turn out just as awesome as his smart, loving brother with time and the right person. He does really well going potty outside. He hasn’t had an accident in a long time, but we take him out regularly. We are also working on walking on a leash and he is getting better! He actually doesn’t chew on much at all, I wonder if that will change as he continues to warm up. He is crate trained and will sometimes go in there by himself and lay. He needs to have a crate or a place to feel safe. He is in there around 9 hours at night and does fine. He will go lay down(go to his crate) when told. Fenced yard required! He is fully vetted and looking for a loving home! We adopt within a 4 hour radius of Toledo, OH Our adoption fee is $400 Fully vetted including neuter, puppy vaccines, bordetella, flea & tick treated, heartworm prevention, de-wormed, and microchipped
