Story
Bradley is a 1 to 2 yr old neutered male Rottie or Rottie mix. He weighs 66lbs. We pulled him from our local shelter when his owner failed to reclaim him. He is a great guy who has so much love to give his forever family. He is a strong boy but tries to behave on a leash. He did great for the vet and made several friends at the clinic. He does know a few commands and will happily learn more for just a little treat. He played with a few dogs in the play yard and did well . He can be a bit rough for small dogs. He appears to be house trained and happily went into a crate when asked. He is fine with other dogs and older children. He might be to much for real little children. We haven't cat tested him. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $400. If interested in meeting this cutie, please email heritagefarms08@gmail.com or call the foster at 419-779-0862. He is being fostered in Ottawa Lake Michigan. When emailing please include information about you and your family including other pets. current vet information is also appreciated.

Story
HI!!! My name is Pollo and I'm such an extraordinarily intelligent boy! When I first arrived at FMAR as a stray, over 2 years ago, I was so skinny that you could see my ribs. I've been waiting all this time for someone to come and meet me so I can show them how wonderful I am!Almost everyone thought that I was a Pit Bull Terrier mix but when a volunteer did a DNA test on me, guess what they found?!! In the sunlight, you can really see my Rottie coloring. 52% Rottweiler 27% American Pit Bull Terrier 16% American Staffordshire Terrier 3% American BulldogI have dreams of becoming an agility dog! I have so much fun when the volunteers set up an obstacle course for me! You should see how high I can jump over a hurdle! I also love just hanging out in the yard and relaxing. Sometimes I'm a little nervous meeting new people, but I LOVE treats so give me a couple and I'm your best friend!I need an experienced owner who will challenge my brain and body every day. I like the challenge of eating meals from a Kong Wobbler. If you have children, I hope they are older. I have a whole lot of energy, and may be a bit too much for some families. However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE!If you would like to meet me, please submit an application for me on our website https://www.friendsofmichigan.org/adoptable-dogs. I am neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $250, which covers all of the medical care I have received.*Each dog is different, so each adoption is different. The adoption process may require multiple visits to the shelter before a dog can go home with you. Or they may be ready on the first visit. It depends on the individual dog and the potential adopters. One we receive your application, the Dog Staff will contact you to discuss meeting our dogs.

Story
Belle was born on July 17th 2022. We adopted her when she was 9 months old. She is a very sweet girl with lots of energy. She loves playing with her ball and chasing the hose water. Belle does very well being home alone. She don’t chew on anything she’s not suppose to or tear up the house. She will lay there and sleep until someone returns home. She is also crate trained. She sleeps in a crate at night in my room with me. Anyone interested in adopting Belle will need a decent size yard for her to run in. The only reason I am wanting to adopt her out is, I have a small yard. She don’t have the room to run like she needs to. I feel it is not fair to keep her when I can not give her the proper exercise she needs. She listens to commands better when she’s able to run off her energy. Belle is very loved in our home. I’m hoping to find someone who will love her as much as we do. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions
