Story
Roxxie is a 6 year old Rottie. She has been with us since she was a puppy, and was raised with other dogs. Her preference is to be an only dog though, as most dogs she is not a fan of. The only exception was her older brother who passed away last year. She's never been around cats, but is an avid critter hunter and catcher, so I don't imagine she'd get along with cats very well. She does have a bit of food aggression, and does the Rottie Rumble when playing with her toys. She would do well in a home with older kids, but the reason we are having to rehome her is that we have not been able to have her around our toddler. She will growl and/or raise her hair to him, and we don't trust having her around him. She still loves and plays with our older children. She loves pets and all the anttention, and sitting at your feet. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye, but I know it’s best for her and for us to be able to live her best life in a new home.

Story
Hero is a 2.5‑year‑old Rottweiler with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side with a toy in his mouth. Hero adores other dogs — sometimes a little too much — and his excitement can come out as big, bouncy energy. With some guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s learning how to channel that big love in calmer ways. Hero would do best with older kids simply because he sometimes forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is when he’s happy — which is pretty much all the time. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, Hero is your guy! Hero is crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. His forever family must have a fenced yard and live within 45 miles of Toledo, Ohio Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. Story
Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) All dogs/cats can be adopted in all locations below, regardless of where they are posted.
