Story
Remi is a spunky little cuddle bug who’s ready to take charge of any situation. She loves all kinds of toys — even her makeshift creations — but right now her favorites are the toy box itself and the water bowl (yes, even when it’s full!). Her favorite hangout spots include hiding under the bed, relaxing beneath the computer, or curling up in the curve of your neck. She’s the cutest little sour patch kid with the most adorable wiggle butt. And when you tell her “no,” she gives you that irresistible, twinkly-eyed look that makes it nearly impossible not to give in. We believe Remi is a Pit Bull/Rottie mix, but her foster family thinks she may actually be a Pit Bull/Chow mix. What we know for sure? She is 100% good dog! Remi currently lives with another dog and a cat and gets along great with both of them. She is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines. She’s not quite old enough for her rabies shot just yet. Apply at savemonroestrays.com/dogs

Story
Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. Watch video here https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1896V157zZ/ She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
If you’ve been holding out for a Hero, now is your chance! Hero is a 2-year-old Rottweiler full of playful energy who would love to be your buddy! Some of Hero’s favorite things are people, toys, playing tug, belly rubs, and being outside. Hero loves other dogs, does well sleeping in his cage overnight and when home alone, and is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Because of Hero’s size and energy, he would do better in a home with older children. Hero’s forever family must have a fenced-in yard and live within 45 miles of Toledo. Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. Please complete an application on our website https://toledospetbullproject.com/adoption/

Story
Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) All dogs/cats can be adopted in all locations below, regardless of where they are posted.
