Story
If you are looking for a young, frisky pup who loves to play, Roady would be your new best friend. He could be part boxer or boxweiler with his furrowed brow but leans in like a lab, part heeler perhaps? Whatever the mix, Roady does love the car, travels politely, and would thrive with a daily dog park visit. He has a lot of stamina, runs fast, and enjoys chasing balls. He might do really well with agility training. Roady loves his meals and is working on "sit" to wait for them. He is a bit shy on occasion and it will take time for "come" to be second nature. Roady can get distracted outside as all his senses seem to be on alert. He has especially keen hearing and long distance vision, but does not bark often. He is a gentleman in the house as he is totally housebroken! Roady is still young and learning, loving a chew toy of any kind, especially plastic, so he will need heavy monitoring in a new environment for a bit. He takes calm and firm verbal correction well and is learning "off" and "leave it" commands. Having said that, Roady crates easily and enjoys being in and out of bed during the day on his own. He has done well being confined when adults are out for a couple of hours. Roady gets along well with other medium-sized dogs and follows after his foster brother on walks and visits in the yard. He is a great follower and would love another dog or playmate at home. He does very well on leash. If you are looking for a manageable optimistic, playful dog who can content himself without fuss, Roady will make a wonderful companion for the lucky family that chooses him.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Hero is a 2.5‑year‑old Rottweiler with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side with a toy in his mouth. Hero adores other dogs — sometimes a little too much — and his excitement can come out as big, bouncy energy. With some guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s learning how to channel that big love in calmer ways. Hero would do best with older kids simply because he sometimes forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is when he’s happy — which is pretty much all the time. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, Hero is your guy! Hero is crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. His forever family must have a fenced yard and live within 45 miles of Toledo, Ohio *If you do not meet the requirements listed for this dog, we are not obligated to respond to your application. I got Diamond two years ago from a pet store. Since she came, we have been a small family of 3. She has brought so much joy to my daughter. She is very active and playful. Looking to rehome her to a good loving home, who have the time to keep up with her activeness. The home who can be around her often.

Story
Hey there, I’m Lilith—a 1 to 2-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love (and okay… some heartworm, but I’m getting the best care at Hard Licker Ranch and healing like a champ!).   Life didn’t start out easy for me, but now I know one thing for sure: humans are amazing, and I’m loyal to mine with all my heart. I’d thrive as your one-and-only pup—no other dogs or kitty cats, please—but I do love kiddos and would be the best snuggle buddy you’ve ever had.   If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close, cuddle up, and never let go—I’m your girl.   Let’s write the happy chapter of my story… together.   ##2473181##

Story
Rags is a very friendly and chill Rottie mix who was luckily rescued by his foster. He was found walking down a median on a busy road in Detroit. Rags currently lives with several other dogs and is very loving and sweet. It appeared he was not very well taken care of when found. He has an overbite which was probably congenital that causes his tongue to stick out. He had heartworm disease when we first got him but he was treated and is now healthy and heartworm negative. Rags is about 75 pounds and estimated to be about 10 years old. Rags has a good personality and would love to finally find a wonderful new family to love and care for him. This fellow definitely deserves it. Please consider making him a new addition to your home or companion for another friendly dog.
