Story
Hello, my name is Karma. I am a sensitive soul looking for my forever family, and I`m hoping it could be you! I am looking for a low-traffic home to feel like my best self, because I am nervous sometimes about a lot of commotion and change. I would do best meeting household dogs before adoption; I have a history of being playful and friendly with other dogs but I can be selective like human introverts might be. Bring some good vibes into your life by adopting me today!

Story
Hey there, I’m Lilith—a 1 to 2-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love (and okay… some heartworm, but I’m getting the best care at Hard Licker Ranch and healing like a champ!).   Life didn’t start out easy for me, but now I know one thing for sure: humans are amazing, and I’m loyal to mine with all my heart. I’d thrive as your one-and-only pup—no other dogs or kitty cats, please—but I do love kiddos and would be the best snuggle buddy you’ve ever had.   If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close, cuddle up, and never let go—I’m your girl.   Let’s write the happy chapter of my story… together.   ##2473181##

Story
If you are looking for a young, frisky pup who loves to play, Roady would be your new best friend. He could be part boxer or boxweiler with his furrowed brow but leans in like a lab, part heeler perhaps? Whatever the mix, Roady does love the car, travels politely, and would thrive with a daily dog park visit. He has a lot of stamina, runs fast, and enjoys chasing balls. He might do really well with agility training. Roady loves his meals and is working on "sit" to wait for them. He is a bit shy on occasion and it will take time for "come" to be second nature. Roady can get distracted outside as all his senses seem to be on alert. He has especially keen hearing and long distance vision, but does not bark often. He is a gentleman in the house as he is totally housebroken! Roady is still young and learning, loving a chew toy of any kind, especially plastic, so he will need heavy monitoring in a new environment for a bit. He takes calm and firm verbal correction well and is learning "off" and "leave it" commands. Having said that, Roady crates easily and enjoys being in and out of bed during the day on his own. He has done well being confined when adults are out for a couple of hours. Roady gets along well with other medium-sized dogs and follows after his foster brother on walks and visits in the yard. He is a great follower and would love another dog or playmate at home. He does very well on leash. If you are looking for a manageable optimistic, playful dog who can content himself without fuss, Roady will make a wonderful companion for the lucky family that chooses him.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hi, I’m a beautiful Rottweiler mix girl looking for my forever family! I have a sweet heart and can’t wait to find someone who will love me just as much as I’ll love them. One of my favorite things to do is run and stretch my legs, but once I’ve burned off my energy, I’m happiest curled up next to my favorite people for snuggles. I’m wonderful with kids and get along well with other dogs, making me a great companion for many different families. I love chew toys—especially the tough, durable kind—but I’ll happily play with soft toys too. Treats are the quickest way to win me over, and since I’m very food-motivated, they also help me learn new things! I’m already crate trained and walk nicely on a leash, so I’m ready to settle into my new home. I can be skittish when I encounter new people, places, or situations, so I’ll need a family who will let me go at my own pace. Once I know I’m safe, my loving and loyal personality shines through. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate best friend who enjoys adventures, cuddles, and will reward your patience with unconditional love, I just might be the perfect girl for you!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. July 17, 2026, 10:45 am

Story
Rags is a very friendly and chill Rottie mix who was luckily rescued by his foster. He was found walking down a median on a busy road in Detroit. Rags currently lives with several other dogs and is very loving and sweet. It appeared he was not very well taken care of when found. He has an overbite which was probably congenital that causes his tongue to stick out. He had heartworm disease when we first got him but he was treated and is now healthy and heartworm negative. Rags is about 75 pounds and estimated to be about 11 years old. Rags has a good personality and would love to finally find a wonderful new family to love and care for him. This fellow definitely deserves it. Please consider making him a new addition to your home or companion for another friendly dog.
