Story
Bobby4-Year-Old Rottweiler Meet Bobby — the world’s biggest sweetheart in a Rottweiler body. This handsome hunk loves two things: long walks and snuggle marathons. He’s basically a 90-pound lap dog with a heart of gold. Bobby prefers to keep all the love (and couch space) to himself, so he’s looking for a home with no other dogs — just humans ready to adore him 24/7.If you think you can handle this level of charm, apply at hskl.ca/adopt/available-dogs.html or stop by 107 McLaughlin Road to meet your new cuddle coach!

Story
Meet Raptor, a sweet and affectionate boy who came to us after his family could no longer care for him. When Raptor arrived, he was struggling with severe skin and ear infections. After initial treatment with topical and oral medications, we saw some improvement. However, the relief was temporary, so we decided to make a dietary change to better manage his dermatologic conditions. Since then, Raptor has thrived! His skin and ears have cleared up completely, and he no longer needs topical or oral medication. He still enjoys weekly medicated baths, and his future family will be able to continue this routine as Raptor absolutely loves bath time! Raptor is a happy, energetic boy who enjoys going for walks and spending time with his people. He’s looking for a family that can keep up with his energy and offer him the love and attention he deserves. If you’re looking for a big, sweet guy to join your family, Raptor just might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Choi is one strong guy! Most of the time he is tough and determined, but once he accepts you into his circle he is a real cuddle bear. He is so very loyal. Choi enjoys spending his days doing lots of tricks for treats, playing ball, and getting all the pets he can. Sometimes he'll even sit on your lap! When we first rescued Choi he had no leash manners or training. His reactivity and protective behaviour was very intense. Throughout the months of working with him we have seen a huge change in Choi. He is extremely food motivated and enjoys structure. He would benefit from someone who is active, has experience with dogs of his demeanor, and will have the time to continue his training long term. Choi would do best in an adult only home with no other pets, in a quiet environment. He can still be reactive towards dogs, vehicles, and strangers at times. Choi could go to a home with teens depending on the family's experience as a whole.

Story
Stella is a 1-and-a-half-year-old ball of energy who's ready to find her forever home! She's a bright, social, and affectionate girl who loves to be part of the action. Whether it's going for a walk, playing with toys, or learning new tricks, Stella approaches everything with enthusiasm and a big heart. Her eagerness to please makes her a great candidate for continued training and bonding with her new family.Stella is very interested in other dogs and would likely enjoy having a larger canine friend to play with. However, she will require a meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit with any potential dog siblings. She's also good with kids and has the potential to do well with cats given proper, slow introductions.Stella doesn't love being left alone for long periods, so she would thrive in a home where her people are around often. Stella may also do well at a doggy daycare during those periods of time where she may have to be alone. Because of her high energy level, she will do best in an active household that can give her plenty of exercise, structure, and affection. She's a loving, outgoing companion who's sure to bring joy and laughter wherever she goes. If you're looking for a fun and loyal dog who's always up for an adventure, Stella might be the perfect match for you!Stella is fully vaccinated, spayed, house-trained, and ready to go home! Please reach out to us at 705-325-1304 or orillia@ontariospca.ca if you're interested in adopting Stella! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 27.008 Age: 1yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
Meet Charlie — Your Big-Hearted, Big-Pawed Adventure Buddy! Charlie is a 3.5-month-old Rottweiler puppy with a shiny black coat, a charming personality, and paws that promise he’ll grow into a large, impressive adult dog. He’s a fun, curious little who loves exploring the world, soaking up attention, and learning what it means to be part of a family. Smart, Trainable & Learning Fast Charlie is already crate-trained and sleeps through the night for about six hours without accidents. He’s working hard on his house training—he’ll happily do his business outside as long as you guide him and keep him on a schedule. He has mastered “sit” and is working on “stay” and “off” as he learns polite manners for a dog who will one day be quite big! Playful Puppy Energy He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playtime—although he is in his teething stage, so expect some “baby shark” nibbling. Chew toys are his best friends, and he can’t resist de-stuffing anything soft. He also loves carrying shoes to his bed for snuggles (not chewing!), a habit his foster family is helping him grow out of. What Charlie Needs in a Home Because Charlie will be a large, strong dog with plenty of energy, he’s looking for a home that can provide: A large, secure fenced yard for safe exercise and play An owner with time, patience, and consistency to continue his training Plenty of opportunities to burn off his abundant puppy energy A budget ready for the food and vet care a big boy requires Charlie would do best in a home without children under 10, simply because of his size, enthusiasm, and ongoing training needs. A Great Adventure Partner Charlie rides wonderfully in the car—he settles into his bed and enjoys the trip, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving puppy with tons of potential and you’re ready to invest in his training and growth, Charlie may be the perfect match. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to find his forever family!                   November 27, 2025, 9:35 pm
