Story
Meet Raptor, a sweet and affectionate boy who came to us after his family could no longer care for him. When Raptor arrived, he was struggling with severe skin and ear infections. After initial treatment with topical and oral medications, we saw some improvement. However, the relief was temporary, so we decided to make a dietary change to better manage his dermatologic conditions. Since then, Raptor has thrived! His skin and ears have cleared up completely, and he no longer needs topical or oral medication. He still enjoys weekly medicated baths, and his future family will be able to continue this routine as Raptor absolutely loves bath time! Raptor is a happy, energetic boy who enjoys going for walks and spending time with his people. He’s looking for a family that can keep up with his energy and offer him the love and attention he deserves. If you’re looking for a big, sweet guy to join your family, Raptor just might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Choi is one strong guy! Most of the time he is tough and determined, but once he accepts you into his circle he is a real cuddle bear. He is so very loyal. Choi enjoys spending his days doing lots of tricks for treats, playing ball, and getting all the pets he can. Sometimes he'll even sit on your lap! When we first rescued Choi he had no leash manners or training. His reactivity and protective behaviour was very intense. Throughout the months of working with him we have seen a huge change in Choi. He is extremely food motivated and enjoys structure. He would benefit from someone who is active, has experience with dogs of his demeanor, and will have the time to continue his training long term. Choi would do best in an adult only home with no other pets, in a quiet environment. He can still be reactive towards dogs, vehicles, and strangers at times. Choi could go to a home with teens depending on the family's experience as a whole.

My name is Rocco,At first glance, I may look like the kind of dog who could guard a castle — broad chest, strong stance, that classic Rottweiler confidence. But spend even a moment with me, and you’ll realize I am just a big, soft, sucky boy who wants nothing more than a human to love. I am wonderful with strangers, gentle with children, and happiest when I am a part of the family action. I like to say I thrive on connection with people and would make an incredible companion for someone who wants a loyal, affectionate shadow. Here is what I am looking for: • A loving home where I can be the only dog• A family or individual who appreciates a big, cuddly companion• Someone who understands that behind my tough guy looks is a total sweetheartMy ideal Home includes: Children: YesOther dogs: NoCats: NoFirst time owner: An experienced owner would benefit meFenced in yard: could do well with or without a fenced in yard. Story
History: Monty is a sweet, loyal Rotti cross looking for a home where he can truly settle in and feel safe. After being surrendered when his owner moved and could no longer keep him, Monty has had a lot of change in his young life, which has left him with some separation anxiety. Despite that, he's an affectionate boy who just wants to be close to his people. He loves going for rides side by side, enjoys chew bones and toys, and is happiest when he's included in everyday life. Monty is house trained, walks great on a leash, and eats and drinks well. He does best in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods, as he struggles being confined to a crate or room by himself. He's good with kids, can live with certain dogs, and may do okay with cats with close supervision. Currently thriving in foster care, Monty is showing everyone what a loving and devoted companion he can be. QUICK FACTS Name: Saffy Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Dobermann – Jindo Mix Color: Black and Tan Weight: 15kg / 33lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued after spending my days neglected in the countryside, confined to a short one-metre chain. My world may have once been very small, but thanks to my rescue, I've been given the chance to discover a life filled with kindness, freedom, and care. Now I'm looking forward to finding a loving forever family and beginning a new chapter filled with happy adventures and wonderful memories.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Saffy! I'm a sweet, gentle girl with a loving heart and an adorably expressive personality. I inherited my mother’s striking good looks—including my beautiful pointed ears and distinctive build. I absolutely love people, although I'm still getting used to being touched and handled, so I may need a little time to understand that all those cuddles are meant just for me! When someone first approaches, I sometimes flatten myself to the ground because I'm not quite sure what to expect. And if you suddenly try to pick me up, I may let out my most dramatic little “Shiba scream” in surprise! But the funny part is that once I'm actually in your arms, I settle right in and become the sweetest little cuddle bug. I need a little bit of time to become comfortable with someone new, and once I know you're safe, my gentle and affectionate personality begins to shine. I'm a charming mix of Jindo sensibility and Shiba-style drama, which makes me an endlessly lovable and entertaining companion. With a little patience and plenty of positive experiences, I'm sure to become even more confident with human affection. If you're looking for a sweet girl whose trust is incredibly rewarding to earn—and who might make you laugh along the way—I'd love to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first in some situations, but treats quickly help me feel comfortable, and it usually doesn't take long before I'm happy to be touched! I may even approach someone I've just met to lean against them and enjoy some gentle pets. I even roll over and show my belly to someone I've just met! I can be gently picked up when needed, although being carried doesn't seem to be my favorite thing, so I appreciate having my paws on the ground whenever possible. · With Dogs: I'm polite when meeting unfamiliar dogs and may approach them to say hello, although I'm usually not interested in playing together. Larger dogs can sometimes make me feel nervous or uncomfortable, so I appreciate calm and respectful introductions. Even if another dog tries to provoke me, I prefer to walk away and avoid conflict whenever possible. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown but when I see cats while we're out on a walk, I tend to stay focused on my person rather than paying much attention to them.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have low energy level – I enjoy taking life at a relaxed pace. After spending some time outdoors, I'm happiest settling down for a peaceful rest. I'm an experienced walker with excellent leash manners—I don't pull and naturally follow my person, making me a wonderful companion for calm, leisurely walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing around food and don't feel the need to guard it from people or other dogs. I'm generally a very quiet companion who rarely barks, although I may use a little demand barking when there's something I really want. I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel When it comes to car rides, I can hop out on my own but need a little help being lifted into the car. I'm flexible with my potty habits and can use indoor pee pads as well as go outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    SAFFY'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2794117##

QUICK FACTS Name: Rush Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Dobermann – Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 15kg / 33lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued after spending my days neglected in the countryside, confined to a short one-metre chain. My world may have once been very small, but thanks to my rescue, I've been given the chance to discover a life filled with kindness, freedom, and care. I'm a calm, affectionate girl with a beautiful smile, striking mismatched eyes, and a wonderfully gentle personality. I absolutely love people and am friendly even with those I've just met, happily welcoming new friends into my world. I spent much of my earlier life tied up, so going on proper walks was likely a completely new experience for me. Even so, I surprised everyone by walking beautifully beside unfamiliar volunteers without pulling at all. I'm also an incredibly smart girl who understands cues like “sit” and “paw” almost naturally, and my love of food makes learning even more fun. With my loving nature, intelligence, beautiful looks, and naturally good manners, I have all the qualities of an amazing companion. If you're looking for a sweet, steady best friend who will happily walk beside you and brighten your days with her beautiful smile, I'd love to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm incredibly friendly and affectionate with people, whether we're old friends or meeting for the very first time. I'll happily come over to say hello, lean against you for affection, and enjoy all the gentle pets you have to offer. I may even roll over and show you my belly the first time we meet—a sweet sign of my trusting and outgoing nature! I'm also comfortable being gently picked up, making it easy to care for and cuddle me. · With Dogs: I'm friendly and social with other dogs and happily approach both familiar and new friends to say hello and invite them to play. I tend to get along especially well with dogs around my own size, although very high-energy or overly excited dogs can sometimes make me feel uncomfortable. Because I may stand my ground if another dog provokes me, calm and supervised introductions are important when I'm meeting a new dog for the first time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown but when I see cats during a walk, I tend to stay focused on my person rather than showing much interest in them.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy outdoor activities and exploring with my people. Once I've had a good walk or some time outside, I'm happy to settle down and relax calmly at home. I'm an experienced walker with excellent leash manners—I don't pull and naturally follow my person, making me a wonderful companion for peaceful walks and everyday adventures.   TRAINING & HABITS I don't guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating, so I appreciate having my own space during mealtimes. I'm generally a very quiet companion who rarely barks I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel I'm also comfortable getting in and out of the car on my own, making travel a little easier. When it comes to potty habits, I'm flexible and can use indoor pee pads as well as go outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. Story
FOR ADOPTION: A few weeks ago, we introduced you to Rusty is a young boxer mix who was struggling in a shelter environment, overlooked not because he was a bad dog, but because he was overwhelmed, frustrated, and simply lacking an outlet. That was never the real Rusty. Since entering foster care, Rusty has completely transformed. With regular exercise, structure, patience, and love, his true personality has emerged and it’s impossible not to fall in love with him. At just 1 year old, Rusty is playful, intelligent, goofy, affectionate, and always eager to be part of whatever his humans are doing. He has settled beautifully into his foster home and has loved every adventure that has come his way from waterfront walks, to hikes, to tagging along on outings and car rides. Now that we’ve gotten to know Rusty better, we know exactly what kind of home will help him continue to thrive. Rusty’s ideal forever home would include: • An active family who enjoys long walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures • A family experienced with higher-energy dogs and committed to continuing his training as Rusty is incredibly smart and learns quickly • Another playful dog companion would be a bonus, as Rusty is very social and enjoys dogs that match his energy level • Older children would likely be the best fit because of his enthusiasm and size • A fenced yard where he can safely burn off energy and play A few more things to know about Rusty: • He LOVES car rides and dog toys • He is doing wonderfully in his crate overnight and when left home alone • He’s become very popular at his vet clinic and the staff absolutely adore him • He is happiest when included in daily life and adventures with his people His foster family knows saying goodbye will not be easy, but they also know Rusty deserves a forever family who sees him for who he truly is. In their words: “Rusty is going to make his new family VERY happy with his goofy antics and fun personality! He is always eager to please his humans.” Sometimes the dog you almost overlook… Turns out to be exactly the dog someone was waiting for. If you think Rusty may be the perfect addition to your family, please fill out an adoption application through TEAM Dog Rescue: www.teamdogrescue.ca
