Story
Angie is a great girl.  But for the most part she gets along with most others.  Angie is a rottweiler/lab cross.  Spayed and fully vaccinated as well as microchipped.  Angie is very friendly and affectionate.  She walks amazingly on her leash and loves long walks and loves to give kisses and enjoys lots of pets and scratches.  Angie was obviously someone's pet but was dumped at a kill shelter.  We are not sure why someone could do this to such a sweet girl.  Please inquire about Angie and fill out her online application.  Angie can also be transported to anywhere in the USA and Canada.   ##1843185##

Story
Name: Samantha Breed: Rottweiler Age/Sex: ~2020, FS Health Concerns: None at this time Good with: Breed experienced, responsible teenagers NO DOGS. NO CATS. NO DOG PARKS Samantha is an exuberant young girl, who is ready to start the best chapter of her life! She was found as a stray, so she's starting a fresh new page, and is writing her own history. Samantha is very confident, and forward. She does not appear to have received much training in her previous life, and is working hard on understanding concepts such as impulse control, and leash pressure. She is strong, and used to throwing her weight around to get what she wants. She is doing very well with her crate training, though can be destructive if bored. She cannot have soft bedding material, a Kuranda style bed is best. Samantha has excellent food and toy drive, and will play for hours. She loves the water, and everything is fun and exciting. This is no couch potato girl, she's an active working girl, and she knows it! Samantha has shown some selectivity with people, but with proper intros, and some food, is easily bribed. Staying on top of her training to ensure good choices, is key. If you get lax with her, she will absolutely take it, and run with it. Due to her nature and forward personality, homes with teenagers that can be actively involved in her training, and are comfortable establishing boundaries with a powerful, guardian breed, will be considered. Samantha has made it quite clear that she does not want to share her space with other pets. She can be neutral, but will get very forward and aggressive, if they enter her space. Samantha is a fabulous rottweiler, very green, and ready to go in any direction. She is a joy to work with, and very affectionate with her person. Please message if she's the lovebug missing from your life! ________________________________ Adoption through Inugoya includes: - the dog - All vaccinations & required boosters; DA2PPv, Bordetella, Lyme, Leptospirosis, and Rabies - 4DX Blood Test (Heartworm, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis) - Age appropriate wellness blood screen - Fecal test - Deworming & Flea/Tick/Heartworm prevention - Spay/Neuter - Microchip - Hip xray for all dogs that undergo anesthesia - All medical needs assessed and concluded. UPDATED BIO *LOOKING FOR A FOSTER-TO-ADOPT* Grey Collar | Hungarian Doberman | 4 months | Female | 20 lbs | Owner Surrender *We cannot guarantee breed nor age. *We are only looking to adopt Sable to an experienced owner, preferably with working dog or Doberman experience, with a commitment to hiring a trainer as this is mandatory. *We will not allow any altering of ears or tail. Temperament: Lively, energetic, playful and mischievous. Activity Level: High puppy energy. Vetting: Core vaccines (DHPP, lepto - needs boosters + rabies and bordetella), microchipped, dewormed, fecal (pending), on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Needs to be spayed. All of this will be completed while in her foster-to-adopt home. Housebroken: She will ask to go outside and stand by the door. She will whine overnight when in her kennel to be let out. Very rare accidents. Good with Dogs:Yes! Good with Cats: Very playful with cats but learning to give them space! Good with Children: Yes! Prey drive: Very interested in prey animals like squirrels. Response to the outdoors: Loves it! Crate-Trained: Yes! Response to commands: Responding well to learning commands and is eager to please. Very food motivated. Knows ‘sit’, ‘give paw’ and ‘wait’. Transportation: Great in the car and will just sleep or looks out the window. Not tested on public transit. *Sable’s bio may change as we get to know her better. *Comes with 6 weeks of pet insurance totalling $500 and 2 free online taped training classes. *Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder for a response from our team. *Due to overwhelming responses & being an entirely volunteer-run organization, we are only able to reach out to applicants that will be moving forward. Thank you for your interest! Sable is another dynamic and highly intelligent female in this Doberman litter. She is so brilliant that she will need an experienced owner that has the passion and drive to train her so she is her best self. She is very food motivated and learns very quickly. She loves puzzle games. Sable’s forever home needs to be prepared for all that entails with raising a highly intelligent puppy. She will need an adopter willing to stimulate her mind as well as continue to give her boundaries to adhere too. Adopters should be prepared to puppy proof their home as Sable is in her chewing stage with teething. A household where someone who is home more often than not, at least at the start, to help ease her into learning to be left on her own would be ideal but she does very well in her crate. Sable loves other dogs and would love to have a doggie sibling in her forever home! They should be a well-balanced pup that is up for playtime and can show her the ropes. Sable will surely be a ray of sunshine for her new family! All the work put into helping her grow into the best dog she can be, will be rewarded two-fold with oodles of love. Sable is looking for a foster-to-adopt home, where she will be fostered with the commitment to adopt, until her spay and additional vetting is completed. Once she is cleared medically, then she can be officially adopted by her foster-to-adopt family! We are looking for a FTA home that will commit to taking Sable to her vet appointments for her vaccines and spay. If Sable sounds like the light you need in your life, please fill out a Canine Adoption Application on our website: covetedcanines.org/application
