Story
Welcome Brutus to CCPAL Rescue. Brutus is a 2.5 year old Terrier/Rottweiler mix is our best guess of his blend. He weighs about 55 pounds. He is athletic and has a shorter not to much of a shedding dog. I call this dog a man dog. He loves men as the kennel workers are all men and they take great care of him. He is a strong dog but walks well on the leash after he his excitement of a walk has ended. He would be a great jogging, walking or hiking companion. He will sit when you ask him to and he is affectionate. He would be a great companion dog for someone wanting a dog to join them in all their outdoor activities. He is eager to please and not hard to get his willingness to comply. He has a very cute ear that is wonky and it adds to his adorableness in our opinion. He is vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He could go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. 🐶 Meet Farrah! 💙 Farrah is friendly, playful, smart, and just the right amount of goofy — a fun-loving girl who keeps life interesting and full of smiles. She loves being around people, enjoys playtime, and is always ready to learn and explore. One of Farrah’s favorite things? Water! 💦 Whether it’s splashing around or just cooling off, she’s happiest when she can enjoy a little water fun. Farrah would do best in a home without cats or free-range livestock, where she can thrive and be set up for success. If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion with a silly side and a love for adventure, Farrah might be your girl 🐾💙

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Have you ever wanted a pocket Rottweiler?  Well you can have a great one in pretty PENNY.  She is only 60 pounds and 2 years old and oh my gosh, she is the sweet little girl around.  PENNY is 2 years old and I hate to keep repeating myself but she is simple the sweetest. She has no aggression in any area and does not react to other dogs, she gets along with all of the dogs and loves to play.  She walks great on a leash and does not get sick in the car. PENNY was found running the streets of San Antonio, TX and after posting her on social media, no one was looking for her.  But that is okay because I am happy to have her in our rescue group. Of course she needs her own home and would make an excellent companion for any human as she is gentle and mild.  And she would be a great playmate for another dog. If you are interested in adopting PENNY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         March 12, 2026, 9:09 am

Story
Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org JAMIE - 1-Year-Old Mix Looking for His Forever Cowboy/Cowgirl Howdy, partner! I'm Jamie, and I've got a story to tell you. I didn't have the best start to life. I spent my early days in a garage with my siblings, pretty scared of the world and unsure about people. But then something magical happened: I met my foster dad, and he showed me that the world is actually AMAZING. These days? You'll find me rocking my cowboy hat at breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, and just about anywhere my foster dad goes. I've discovered that I'm kind of a star. People love me, and honestly, I love them right back! I've come SO far from that scared puppy in the garage. Now I'm the guy who greets everyone with a wagging tail and makes friends wherever I go. Here's what you should know about me: I'm basically a 60-pound shadow who wants to be wherever you are. Couch time? I'm there for cuddles. Running errands? Let me grab my hat! Long hike? Count me in (but fair warning, you might catch me napping afterward with my tongue hanging out. It's my signature look). I've got that perfect mix of energy. I love a good play session with my stuffed pony or a game of fetch, but I'm also totally content just hanging out by your side. I'm a gentleman on leash, I know sit and stay, I'm house-trained, and I even know how to use the dog door. I'm crate-trained too, though I'd much rather be snuggled up next to you. I LOVE other dogs and enjoy playing with them, and here's something special about me: even when other dogs have been rude or aggressive toward me, I've never once snapped back. I just don't have a mean bone in my body. I'm great with kids, food-motivated (which means I'm super easy to train!), and I promise I won't destroy your toys. I just like to play with them. I'm looking for a home where I can be part of the family, ideally with someone who's home often or has a yard where I can hang out. I haven't been tested with cats, so that's a mystery we'd have to solve together. The bottom line? I went from a scared, unsocialized puppy to a confident, hat-wearing social butterfly who just wants to be your best friend. I've got so much love to give, and I'm ready to find my forever person to share adventures with. Ready to adopt a cowboy? Let's ride off into the sunset together! 🤠

Story
Koda is 10 years old in October 2026. He is such a gentle giant, loving, sweet, house trained, crate trained, and can get rambunctious with his sister Lady. We are looking to rehome him and her *together* because our living circumstances have recently changed and he needs more love, attention, and space than we can give him (and his sister). We’re asking for a rehoming fee because he is our family dog and we love him, we just want him to have a home that can give him what he needs, and we just can’t. He is great with other dogs, people, and children, but we would recommend a home with older kids 10 , because he is large and clumsy. We truly do love him and it has been many months of contemplation to find him a family.
