Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org JAMIE - 1-Year-Old Mix Looking for His Forever Cowboy/Cowgirl Howdy, partner! I'm Jamie, and I've got a story to tell you. I didn't have the best start to life. I spent my early days in a garage with my siblings, pretty scared of the world and unsure about people. But then something magical happened: I met my foster dad, and he showed me that the world is actually AMAZING. These days? You'll find me rocking my cowboy hat at breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, and just about anywhere my foster dad goes. I've discovered that I'm kind of a star. People love me, and honestly, I love them right back! I've come SO far from that scared puppy in the garage. Now I'm the guy who greets everyone with a wagging tail and makes friends wherever I go. Here's what you should know about me: I'm basically a 60-pound shadow who wants to be wherever you are. Couch time? I'm there for cuddles. Running errands? Let me grab my hat! Long hike? Count me in (but fair warning, you might catch me napping afterward with my tongue hanging out. It's my signature look). I've got that perfect mix of energy. I love a good play session with my stuffed pony or a game of fetch, but I'm also totally content just hanging out by your side. I'm a gentleman on leash, I know sit and stay, I'm house-trained, and I even know how to use the dog door. I'm crate-trained too, though I'd much rather be snuggled up next to you. I LOVE other dogs and enjoy playing with them, and here's something special about me: even when other dogs have been rude or aggressive toward me, I've never once snapped back. I just don't have a mean bone in my body. I'm great with kids, food-motivated (which means I'm super easy to train!), and I promise I won't destroy your toys. I just like to play with them. I'm looking for a home where I can be part of the family, ideally with someone who's home often or has a yard where I can hang out. I haven't been tested with cats, so that's a mystery we'd have to solve together. The bottom line? I went from a scared, unsocialized puppy to a confident, hat-wearing social butterfly who just wants to be your best friend. I've got so much love to give, and I'm ready to find my forever person to share adventures with. Ready to adopt a cowboy? Let's ride off into the sunset together! 🤠

Meet Brittney🌺 Brittney is a 3-year-old Boxer mix weighing about 40 lbs, and she’s a beautiful mama with a truly gentle, steady soul. This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. She happily soaks up pets and attention and prefers to stay close to her humans. Brittney has a calm, grounded nature that makes her an easy, comforting presence in the home. What truly sets Brittney apart is her temperament. She has remained remarkably calm and composed even in busy environments, including a home full of energetic kids during a birthday party. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and will settle herself down for the evening without being asked. This makes her a very low-maintenance companion. Brittney is also highly tolerant and easy to handle. She is comfortable with her ears, paws, and mouth being touched, which reflects her trusting and gentle disposition. She is curious and likes to be part of whatever you are doing, but she is not overwhelming. She simply stays close by. She does well with other dogs and has been respectful around cats. She can coexist without getting in their space. She rides well in the car and is currently learning to hop into an SUV on her own. On leash, she may pull slightly at first, but she is manageable and improving with consistency. She enjoys a good bone and is perfectly content relaxing and enjoying the simple things in life. After being a devoted mama, it is now Brittney’s turn to be cared for and cherished in a home of her very own. If you are looking for a calm, well-mannered, and loving companion who will integrate smoothly into your home, Brittney is your girl.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾🥧 Well hello y'all — I’m Moon Pie! 🥧🐾 (2 Years • 70 lbs • Male • Big Goof Energy Included) Yep, Moon Pie — like the sweet treat and like Sheldon’s Meemaw calls him on The Big Bang Theory. Because when you’re this lovable, wiggly, and impossible not to adore, you deserve a name that sounds like a hug. And let me tell you… I am a hug in dog form. I’m a big, lanky, floppy, happy boy with a giant heart and zero shame about belly rubs. I will dramatically roll over, squirm, wiggle, and grin while you rub my belly like it’s my full-time job (spoiler: it is). My foster dad calls me a total goof — and honestly, I take that as a compliment. I’m fully house trained (very proud of this accomplishment) and I’m doggie-door certified. If the door is ever locked, I politely wait like the gentleman I am instead of panicking or causing chaos. On walks, I usually stroll along nicely on a loose leash… unless a squirrel appears, or a potential new friend crosses my path, in which case I briefly but only briefly, forget my professionalism 😅 🐾 Moon Pie’s Fun Facts & Credentials: ✔️ House trained & crate trained (I relax quietly when you leave) ✔️ Uses the dog door like a pro ✔️ Walks well on leash — excitement moments included ✔️ Quiet at home — not much of a barker ✔️ Loves toys and can entertain himself like a one-dog circus ✔️ Knows “sit” and “stay” and takes treats gently ✔️ Super smart, eager to learn, and very trainable I’ve lived with a senior dog and we got along great — though I’ll admit, sometimes I forget not everyone wants to play as much as I do. I’d love a dog buddy who enjoys some playtime or a human who’s happy to help me keep polishing my manners. I really want to be the best boy. Oh — and if you’re into running or biking? Congratulations, you’ve just found your new workout partner. I love keeping pace and cruising alongside you like it’s no big deal. At the end of the day, I’m sweet, affectionate, goofy, active, and full of potential. I’m the kind of dog who brings laughter to your yard, calm to your home, and loyalty to your heart. If you’re looking for a loving, slightly ridiculous, incredibly charming companion with sweetness galore and is Meemaw-level approval… I think we might be a perfect match. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and bring home Moon Pie — the snack-sized name with the full-sized heart. 🖤🤍🥧🐾

Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi, I’m Gilda—the sweet one, the soft one, the “how are you this cute?” one. I’m also a 12-week-old Boxer x Black Mouth Cur mix, about 10 lbs, and I came from the Texas/Mexico border with my siblings. I’ve traded my outdoor beginnings for cozy blankets and loving humans, and I have to say… I’m a fan. My specialties include: • Professional Snuggler – I melt right into you • Gentle Playmate – I love toys and fun, but I keep it sweet • Human-Centered Heart – I bond quickly and love deeply • Dog-Friendly Girl – I get along great with other pups • Quietly Adorable – I don’t need to be loud to steal the spotlight I’m learning house training and doing really well, and I’m still in that perfect puppy stage where I’m curious, loving, and ready to grow into the best companion ever. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a soft heart and playful spirit… I’m waiting for you 💕

Story
Hi. I’m the boy. The handsome one. The fun one. The one who definitely didn’t eat that shoe (no proof, no case). I’m a 12-week-old Boxer x Black Mouth Cur mix, about 10 lbs of pure entertainment. I was found near the Texas/Mexico border with my siblings, which sounds rugged—but I’ve quickly adapted to the indoor life. Blankets? Obsessed. Humans? Even more obsessed. Here’s what I bring to the table: • Playtime Professional – toys are my passion, squeaky or otherwise • Certified Goofball – I will keep you laughing, guaranteed • Human Shadow in Training – where you go, I go. It’s a package deal • Dog-Friendly Dude – I love making friends • Snuggle Upgrade – after zoomies, I’m all about the cuddles I’m working on house training and doing a pretty great job (gold star energy). I’m still a baby, so I’ll need someone to teach me things—but I’m very willing and extremely cute, which should count for something. If you’re looking for a playful, happy, slightly mischievous best friend… I’m your guy.

Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Very loving 18 month old XL American Bully, fullbred with papers, he cost us $3000 to buy him at 3 mos old as a puppy. He is house trained, his shots just expired end of April, we use Vanguard low cost mobile vet clinic, just haven't had time to take him. We recently moved into an apartment that will not accept a dog over 75 lbs, and he weighs 110 lbs, he is wonderful with children and fine with other dogs, we don't know about cats cause we don't have one. He is the sweetest gentle guy and deserves attentive owners.
