WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family? j

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet our sweet boy Sherman. He is a gentle soul that enjoys being around his people. Sherman likes to play for a short time. He would do best in a home with an older dog that is as relaxed as him. He does pick the dogs he is most comfortable around and he definitely wouldn't enjoy an energetic puppy. If you are interested in meeting Sherman, the first step is to go to our website www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application for him.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin c innati, Lexington KY,     or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. I am Rubble. I was found on the highway and I'm the only survivor in my family of distemper. I do have twitches from the distemper but I am otherwise healthy and a typical puppy. I will require an active family in an owned home with a securely fenced yard ideally with someone who has Boxer/Retriever mix experience. I would do well with a family with another dog and children. I will require some training and daily meds. I have such a sweet, lovable personality. Fill out an application online to claim me as yours.

Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Just look at that smile! Elmer is a smaller Boxer mix, about three years old and weighs only about 40 pounds. He would make an awesome workout partner as he is very athletic and would love to be your hiking buddy. He is crate trained for his meals and sleeping and he gets along with other dogs here at the rescue. Elmer is just a fun little guy who would really love a family to call his own! Story
My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Meet Bertha Say hello to Bertha! Bertha is a beautiful Boxer mix who is approximately 1.5 to 2 years old and currently weighs 40 pounds. She ended up in the dog pound, along the border of Mexico! All of the Animal Control Officers loved her, and as us to please help!! We are very happy we were able to rescue her and help her find a forever home! Bertha is a very happy and playful gal! She gets along well with the other dogs in her playgroup here at the rescue. They have a great time playing and exploring together. She does still have some puppy energy, so would do best in an active home with older kiddos where she can go on lots of walks, runs and/or hike, She is a very smart girl who learns quickly and wants love and attention so badly! She craves being with people! A basic obedience class would be great for her, she wants to please and is very treat motivated! Bertha is a wonderful girl who would be a loyal and loving companion to a loving family! Bertha is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. *Bertha tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. Story
Hi there! You might not know who I am because most people go quick away from my kennel. I can be a bit loud behind my gate but once you get to know me, I promise I'm a big old softie who loves nothing more than snuggling up to my favorite humans. I'm not one for the limelight, so I prefer a quiet home where I can relax and feel safe.I'm a bit of a romantic, which is why they named me Valentino. I dream of finding a forever home with someone who will love and cherish me for who I am, quirks and all. And once I feel comfortable, I'll show you my playful side! I love a good game of tug-of-war or chasing a ball, and I'm always up for a walk around the neighborhood.I might be a little shy at first, but please don't give up on me. With a patient and understanding family who can help me build my confidence, I know I can blossom into the best companion you've ever had. So if you're looking for a loyal and loving pup who just needs a little extra TLC, I'm your man. Let's make some memories together!

These pups are in Boerne, Texas too!

Story
Meet Kobe! He was rescued from the side of the road by his foster, and he is just the sweetest boy! His foster family has been caring for him for about a year, but never intended to keep him forever. They have 5 kids ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old and they play with him and lay with him and he is always sweet and gentle with them. He’s never shown aggression to anyone at all. He’s crate trained and house trained, but he will dig under the fence if he doesn’t get enough exercise. He would thrive with more exercise, training and mental stimulation. He’s a very smart dog, but also quite strong so would do well with obedience training. Kobe is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 75 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
