Story
Brenna is a sweet dog; 7 years old, spayed, female. Her original owner passed away and she was fostered until I adopted her. She is very sweet towards children of all ages, but due to her size, I recommend a household with older elementary aged kids (age 7+). She is fine with cats, but her play can be a bit too rough for a cat, especially one that is very young, very old, or inexperienced with dogs. She is NOT dog friendly, although I have worked with her on this, it is best she be the only dog in the home. She will also attack chickens/ water fowl. She rarely barks, so you won’t have noise complaints about her. She goes to the door to alert silently. She loves her humans and; desires to be around them. She is crate and leash trained, does not resource guard, and loves tug-of-war and fetch.

Story
Nova was found shivering at my front door for a few hours on February 2023. I already had one dog and decided to let her in to my home and posted online hoping someone would claim her. She is very energetic and independent but also loves to take naps with me on the couch. She has very little fear and likes to get into things such as the trash. She will chew up soft toys in a matter of seconds. I would not recommend her to be around people with multiple dogs as she loves to be the center of attention and demands it. You can tell she has anxiety and fear of being left alone. She is house trained and will not use the restroom inside the house. I would not recommend place with carpet as she like to chew it up. Overall I feel she would fit well with a person or family that has time to take her outside and to play with her. She is a great dog but unfortunately with her not working well with my dog and my schedule I am unable to keep her. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Story
Xena just turned 1 years old in February. We love her dearly but we feel like she’d be better off in a home with more active owners. I am also unemployed and cannot keep up with her expenses. Xena is very bubbly and is a good friend. She would make a great service dog with professional training. Every time I cry with her in the room, she’ll come cuddle me to comfort me. She loves playing with other dogs but you must feed her separately from them, as she likes to steal and fight over food.

Story
Hello, I'm Blue. I've seen many sunrises and sunsets, each as beautiful as the last. I've got a heart full of love and a tail that wags with joy. I've been told I'm wise, and I think it's because I've learned to appreciate the simple things: a soft bed, a tasty meal, a gentle pat on the head. I love listening to humans talk, their voices are like music to my ears. I'm patient and calm, I've outgrown my puppy antics. Why should you adopt me? Because I have a lifetime of love to give, and I promise to be the most loyal friend you'll ever have.
