Magic’s foster parent has been fostering dogs for almost two years, and Magic is BY FAR his favorite foster. Magic is leash trained, kennel trained, potty trained, and knows neat tricks like “sit” and “shake”. Magic’s ideal daily schedule would involve a long walk, a game of tug of war, and as much time for cuddles as is possible! His only caveat is that he doesn’t get along well with other dogs and cats and would have to be adopted by someone who is good with him being the only apple of their eye. But with a dog who has so much to offer, it’s impossible to not feel like you have everything you need when Magic is a part of your home!

Alexander had a Shelter Paws adventure!Mr. Alexander is a good dog. Obedient during the street walk and did very well on park walk. He is not a barker. When dogs barked from behind their fenced yards he didn’t lunge or bark. When we needed to cross the street he would trot. At O. P. Schnaebel park we walked in vicinity of a group of about 5 dogs. No bark or lunge. Just kept bird-doggin looking for a scent in front of him.Will make an excellent walker.

She is only 60 pounds and 2 years old and oh my gosh, she is the sweet little girl around. PENNY is 2 years old and I hate to keep repeating myself but she is simple the sweetest. She has no aggression in any area and does not react to other dogs, she gets along with all of the dogs and loves to play. She walks great on a leash and does not get sick in the car. PENNY was found running the streets of San Antonio, TX and after posting her on social media, no one was looking for her. But that is okay because I am happy to have her in our rescue group. Of course she needs her own home and would make an excellent companion for any human as she is gentle and mild. And she would be a great playmate for another dog. Meet MEADOW, 60 pounds and 10 months old and as sweet as sugar. She started off thin and I suspect she will get close to 80 pounds in the next 6 months. She has a docked tail and loves belly rubs. She will instantly fall on her back for a belly rub. MEADOW is a soft hearted and soft behaving beautiful girl that gets along with everyone. Her play buddies are big and small. She loves to just be a puppy, running zoomies, playing with toys, cuddling and especially getting snacks. She takes a bath good and walks well on a leash. She would love a home with a pet playmate. MEADOW is easy to train and completely crate and house trained but not ready to be left alone as she is a puppy. I do not have any cats and not sure how she would do around them.
