Story
I’m 82 years old and this is a very hard decision. I’ve had Lexi since she was six weeks old. She is 60 pounds loves to fetch a ball rope. Anything you throw for hours? IShe does not wear out. she is very calm in the house lays around at your feet or goes to her kennel on her own. She likes her kennel. I feed her PetSmart chicken or I cook her chicken and put peas and carrots in it. She’s on a good dry food that doesn’t have a bunch of junk in it healthy dry food. She has always had a big backyard fenced and she rings the bell to go out. She’s in training now I’ve never walked her on her leash, but she’s doing pretty good. The trainer is working on impulse control because she’s a lot when she plays with other dogs she’s not aggressive. Its just she barks in their face. to play .That’s how she plays she barks and it’s annoying to other dogs sometimes. I pray there’s that right person out there for Lexi. She’s so smart. She knows everything you say.

Story
Puppy like 3 yrs old Purebred Mahogany & Black AKC Rottweiler.Amora is a loving, playful, goofball; who likes socializing, especially at daycare & the vet. * She occasionally has allergies, that leads to ear infections. Benadryl has helped. Her big dog leg issues have been lessened by cold laser therapy.* Amora rarely barks, loves to cuddle, playing fetch the ball, going on short walks, plus she is good with established & positively enforced boundaries* The fee is to assure you are serious & financially stable. Her beds, toys, other belongings, & remaining food will accompany her.* I am rehoming Amora because my health has taken a turn. I want to avoid her being surrendered to a shelter if I die. I am not able to walk & play with her as often as she'd like. * Amora needs to live indoors with her human(s). She has a lifevest for emergencies (I've never seen her swim).* Once you submit an application, I will reach out to you so we can discuss a meeting. Please respond back within 3 days

Meet beautiful Bellatrix! This adorable Rottie girl is ready to be the biggest love bug in a home of her own! Bellatrix is a retired mama and all of her puppies have found homes, and now it's her turn! There are so many fun games she likes to play, she's really good at fetch and tug! She can also entertain herself by chewing on a bone! Going on walks is another one of her favorite activities! But her favorite thing of all is definitely being around people and getting all of the love! Bellatrix is the biggest cuddler, shes loves to sit right across your lap for pets or between your legs for head scratches! She will also roll right over for belly rubs! Bellatrix can be content just hanging out in the same room as you and entertain herself while you're busy! She is potty trained and can be left alone for an entire workday! Though not all dogs might be Bellatrix's cup of tea, she does have potential to live with a well matched dog friend who can respect her space, just like her current foster sibling! Come and experience this darling girl's love for yourself!

Story
Fuji is an active, curious boy who enjoys getting out to explore the world with his nose. He appears to be housetrained and loves spending his walks sniffing new scents and investigating his surroundings. He's also food motivated, making treats a great way to build a bond with him. I'M NOT AT APA! YET, but I’m hoping my turn is coming soon. I’m currently at a partner shelter, and I’ve been placed on their Urgent Placement List - which means I’m one of their highest priority dogs to find a way out. I’ve been told that if someone steps up to foster or adopt me, APA! will bring me into their program and help me get ready for home life, so I'm just waiting to be chosen. All it takes is one person to change everything for me - email dog-foster-placement@austinpetsalive.org to be that person!
