Story
Steady Heart, Gentle Soul Rumble is a calm and affectionate young lady who is new to our care. Based on information from her previous shelter, she is a bit timid and has a submissive nature, often rolling over for scratches. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, but in a calm, patient home, her gentle, loving personality shines through. Rumble is a beautiful, Rottweiler-type girl, around 3 years old, and weighs 54 pounds. She’s looking for a patient companion who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe and loved.

Story
Meet Macaroni 2.0, a ~2-year-old male Rottweiler mix who desperately needs a foster to give him comfort, dignity, and kindness during a very uncertain chapter of his life. Macaroni suffered a traumatic injury about four weeks ago, likely involving his C3–C4 spine. When he first arrived, he was completely lateral and unable to lift his head. Thanks to medical care, he has made meaningful progress—he can now stand and has function in all four limbs. However, his movement is not normal, with significant neurological deficits, especially in his right front leg, which currently has little to no proprioception and may eventually require amputation. Macaroni is also very under-socialized and shut down, making it difficult for staff to fully evaluate his quality of life in a shelter environment. What he truly needs is a quiet, patient home to see if he can make meaningful progress. If you have experience with neurologic dogs, hospice fosters, or are someone who can open your heart to a dog who may not recover, Macaroni 2.0 needs you now. His urgency is HIGH. Please help us give him comfort, dignity, and love.

Story
Toaster: A Brave, Playful Little Sidekick Toaster is a brave little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. New places and new people can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but with calm, confident guidance, he settles in beautifully and becomes a devoted shadow. Playtime is one of Toaster’s favorite things. He’s a big fan of chasing balls, squeaky toys, and joyful zoomies. He also loves rolling around in grass, blankets, or carpet, fully embracing life’s simple pleasures. His play style is enthusiastic, he likes clear boundaries and consistency as he learns to channel his excitement. Toaster thrives with structure and routine and does best when he gets regular chances to go outside and reset. He’s fairly quiet overall and has great manners, politely giving space when people are eating nearby. Affectionate, fun-loving, and full of spark, Toaster will do best with experienced, confident dog owners who can provide steady leadership, clear communication, and a predictable environment. In the right home, he’ll shine as a playful companion and loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for a dog with heart, personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Toaster is ready to toast his way into your life.
