Ellie (short for Eleven) is the silliest goofball with the sweetest smile. Ellie is literally the perfect family dog but has sadly been overlooked due to her size and color. Her previous owners were going to euthanize her, but our rescue felt that she deserved a chance so we stepped in. Ellie has been waiting to be adopted since September 2023 and she has never received an application. She has been a fantastic, easy houseguest in each of her foster homes and everyone quickly falls in love with her fun personality. She is fully house trained and nondestructive in home. She is SUPER dog friendly and currently lives with 3 other dogs. She lived with kids and was so gentle and loving. As a medium energy dog, she is an awesome exercise buddy and loves to go on walks or runs, but she also loves to chill with you on the couch watching a movie. She is often seen snuggling her favorite stuffed animal toys. Ellie deserves to finally find the forever family of her dreams! Beeg is a super sweet Rottie type. He may have some black and tan coon hound. We found him running in the pastures near our farm with some Barb wire marks from going under fences. He had joined up with 2 other stray/abandoned dogs. As soon as we fed him he has become totally attached. He is friendly to people who visit our farm. He plays well and is sweet with other dogs and does not challenge our older dominant dog. Unfortunately he has tested positive for Heart worm. As he is only between 1 and 2 years we are starting topical treatment and expect him to be rid pf them in a few months. He is an energetic dog and does not appear to be affected by this condition.

Bella is a 3 year old spayed female Doberman with floppy ears and a docked tail. She was originally found as a stray (multiple times) and her owner decided it was best to surrender her to our rescue. She is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and spayed. She has been treated for heartworms. Bella is learning manners in foster. We will require an experienced working breed owner as she can be a bit pushy due to lack of prior rules. She’s shown us she learns quite quickly but with her intelligence if she can “get one over on you” she will. She’s VERY smart! She has been around cats and chickens and fit into her foster pack very nicely. She doe well with male dogs, but NOT other female dogs. She is also crate trained and housebroken. Older children would be recommended due to her exuberance but she loves people!

Poppy Rose is a 5 year old red and rust female Doberman with cropped (not standing) ears and a docked tail. She was surrendered to the shelter by her breeder along with two one week old puppies and another adult female and some puppies. Poppy Rose had a hard life living outside and her condition at intake (photo) speaks to that. Her foster mom named her appropriately! She has been recovering well in foster care and continues to dote on her puppies. She is heartworm negative, up to date on Baccines and spayed. Poppy was in horrible shape when she was rescued but has regrown all her coat, gained tons of confidence and blossomed. She absolutely loves children! poppy would be best with a quiet family that has working dog experience. She is not a fan of thunderstorms and she will come with her thunder shirt. She is crate trained and housebroken and has learned some basic obedience. She would be happy to hang out with you all day.

Desi was found with Lucy as a stray in the valley with tightly wound copper wire around his neck. He’s a very social guy, gets along well with other dogs and is crate trained. Due to his exuberance (young male Doberman) we recommend an experienced owner. He is smart and very eager to learn! He loves hanging out with his foster family and is ready for his new family!
