Story
Puppy like 3 yrs old Purebred Mahogany & Black AKC Rottweiler.Amora is a loving, playful, goofball; who likes socializing, especially at daycare & the vet. * She occasionally has allergies, that leads to ear infections. Benadryl has helped. Her big dog leg issues have been lessened by cold laser therapy.* Amora rarely barks, loves to cuddle, playing fetch the ball, going on short walks, plus she is good with established & positively enforced boundaries* The fee is to assure you are serious & financially stable. Her beds, toys, other belongings, & remaining food will accompany her.* I am rehoming Amora because my health has taken a turn. I want to avoid her being surrendered to a shelter if I die. I am not able to walk & play with her as often as she'd like. * Amora needs to live indoors with her human(s). She has a lifevest for emergencies (I've never seen her swim).* Once you submit an application, I will reach out to you so we can discuss a meeting. Please respond back within 3 days

Story
Meet beautiful Bellatrix! This adorable Rottie girl is ready to be the biggest love bug in a home of her own! Bellatrix is a retired mama and all of her puppies have found homes, and now it's her turn! There are so many fun games she likes to play, she's really good at fetch and tug! She can also entertain herself by chewing on a bone! Going on walks is another one of her favorite activities! But her favorite thing of all is definitely being around people and getting all of the love! Bellatrix is the biggest cuddler, shes loves to sit right across your lap for pets or between your legs for head scratches! She will also roll right over for belly rubs! Bellatrix can be content just hanging out in the same room as you and entertain herself while you're busy! She is potty trained and can be left alone for an entire workday! Though not all dogs might be Bellatrix's cup of tea, she does have potential to live with a well matched dog friend who can respect her space, just like her current foster sibling! Come and experience this darling girl's love for yourself!

Story
Fuji is an active, curious boy who enjoys getting out to explore the world with his nose. He appears to be housetrained and loves spending his walks sniffing new scents and investigating his surroundings. He's also food motivated, making treats a great way to build a bond with him. I'M NOT AT APA! YET, but I’m hoping my turn is coming soon. I’m currently at a partner shelter, and I’ve been placed on their Urgent Placement List - which means I’m one of their highest priority dogs to find a way out. I’ve been told that if someone steps up to foster or adopt me, APA! will bring me into their program and help me get ready for home life, so I'm just waiting to be chosen. All it takes is one person to change everything for me - email dog-foster-placement@austinpetsalive.org to be that person!

Canela has such a wonderful personality and is such a sweet girl. She’s playful and loves fetch with her stuffies (she’s pretty good at dropping them for you to toss too!). She also loves playing in the little puppy pools, and splashing around in them. She’s also very house trained! Once she works out her zoomies, she’s super easy on a leash. She’s a super cuddly young pup, and loves to lean against her human for pets and scratches. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 71 Age: 4yrs 10mths 2wks

Story
Olive is a ~3 year-old, medium-sized (around 65-70lbs) red brindle Boxer/Pit Bull mix with the sweetest, most loving personality. She’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she’s cuddled up next to her people, going for walks, playing fetch, riding along in the car, or sunbathing in the morning. She’s great with adults and kids and has never shown any aggression toward humans.**She MUST be the only dog in the home—no other dogs whatsoever.** She would do best with an active individual or family who can give her attention, structure, and space to run (a backyard is ideal). She’s perfectly fine staying home during the day (I worked in the office 3x a week) and was always great—never chewing furniture or destroying anything. We’ve invested about $1.7k into professional training, and she knows commands like sit, place, quiet, and come. She is crate trained, potty trained, and truly has so much love to give—she just needs the right environment to thrive.

Story
Charlie is a super sweet boy! He loves to play and run, so he needs an active person or family. He does great with other dogs, no matter the size. He loves playing with all kinds of toys, will share with others, and hasn’t figured out fetch yet! Charlie loves chewing on real bones (I buy frozen raw beef bones). He is quite tall and has long legs - which he uses to love with and to get into mischief! 🤭 Charlie talks like a Husky. He does eat very quickly and has a slow feeder to help. We are working on sitting before food is served. He does well with baths. He is mostly potty trained, but will have an accident if he’s alone and out of his kennel for too long. He is kennel trained. My teenage daughter brought him home unannounced after he came to her work with an ADOPT ME vest on. I may be able to get more info from her as to his previous life. I cannot add him to my lease, so we cannot keep him. No fee bc he does need to be neutered still.
