Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! I'm Captain Peanut Butter and I am looking for my forever family. I am a 4.5 year old Rottweiler mix, and I weigh about 70lbs currently, which is a little heavy for me. I need to lose a few pounds before winter hits so I can look my best in any holiday photos. You know how it is. It should be easy for me to shed those lbs, because I like to go on walks and play fetch. I'm also pretty good at jogging, if that's your preferred mode of exercise! Basically, I'm asking if you could be my weight loss buddy, because I've heard it's easier if there's a friend holding you accountable. And really, what I love MOST is to just chill out and be a couch potato with my humans. I am a great, warm, soft buddy to binge watch your favorite show with. Is your favorite season winter? Mine is! I can snow-shark all day long!   I prefer slow introductions to people and other dogs but once I've learned to trust you we will be best friends. My foster mom says that I have a tough exterior but a squishy interior. I am house and crate trained and I go in my kennel when I'm asked. And I'm pretty quiet too. I would be happiest in a family without kids as they make me a little too nervous.   My ideal human is one who understands that I need some guidance in my life. I really want to make you happy but I also get a little too excited with the outside world. I just need some one to help me be my best self.   I cant wait to meet you!! Please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 7, 2023, 7:05 pm

Hi, new friends! I'm Bodie, and I'm pretty much the friendliest, most easy going pup you'll ever meet. Do you want snuggles? I'm your guy! Need some space? I'll chew on a bone and leave you alone. I know how to ''read the room,'' as you humans say, and adjust to whatever vibe you're going for. I'd sure love another dog friend to play with but I'd also be just fine on my own, as I'm quite good at entertaining myself. I have been friendly and sweet with every dog and human I've met. Even the kitty in my foster home likes me! I am leash trained, house trained and crate trained. Oh (and as if you needed an added bonus), I rarely bark! My foster mama says I'm perfect — how about you apply to adopt for me and find out for yourself? If you'd like to meet Bodie, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJune 7, 2023, 7:31 am

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Hi, I'm Rocky!I'm looking for my forever home! I love to play, especially with squeaky toys! As for tricks, I know "sit" and "lay down." When I'm not playing, I like to be pet and go on walks. I have done well when introduced to other dogs at the shelter, but a proper introduction is key. If I sound like a good fit for you, come meet me!See you soon!
