Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ahoy! I'm Captain Peanut Butter and I am looking for my forever family. I am about 5 years old and I weigh in at a delicate 70 lbs. I'm a mix of all the coolest breeds (obviously) but the best part about me is that I am the most loyal good boy you've ever met.   I love going on walks with my humans. And I also love napping with my humans. Honestly, I just want to be with my humans as much as possible. But that doesn't mean that I can't be away from my humans. I am quiet as can be in my kennel and I will go in without a fuss when asked. Plus I have never had an accident in the house! A few other important things about me are that I need a human who understands that I don't really want to hang out with other dogs. I want all the attention in my forever home and once you meet me, you'll understand that about me. My foster mom also tells me I'm smart and says I surprise her with the things I can learn. I prefer slow introductions to people who are not my humans and like I said, other dogs arent necessarily something I need. But love and patience along with contunued training and great leadership is what I'm asking for.   Lastly, I would prefer a calm home with no little kids. Their fast movements make me nervous (so do fireworks and other really loud sounds). Story
**Currently fostered in Olympia, WA and ready for meet and greets!** This cutie is Aero Bug. She weighs a little under 20 pounds, but she is still growing! We think she may be a Pit Bull / Labrador mix, but with rescue it’s always a mystery! Aero Bug is so playful and sweet. She loves to play with her sibling, Fire Bug, and her toys but also likes to cuddle! Aero Bug is young so she will need a family that can commit to training socialization and all the stuff puppyhood comes with. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. When old enough she will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. Aero is crate trained and 99% house trained. She knows how to sit for a treat and has beautiful markings on her face and a “necklace” marking around her neck. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.
