Russian Blue kittens & cats in Braidwood, Illinois

Kimchi is a very sweet cat who loves a good belly rub and a snuggle. She is a Russian Blue mix, around 5 years old. Calm, generally quiet, and very patient with small children. Unfortunately, she hates other animals, which has become a problem. Since our recent move she has become aggressive with our other cat and constantly stressed. For her and our other cats safety and peace of mind she needs a new, loving, cat-free home. Of note, when isolated from other animals she returns to her normal, loving self very quickly. We love our Kimchi and will be very sad to see her go. We just want her to be happy with a new family.

Bloom is a long thin boy with soulful eyes. His favorite pastime is watching birds but he has playful moments too. Bloom loves boxes and cubby holes or dressers to hide in and take a nap. He had quite an adventure when he was left outside. The experience left him feeling cautious around people. He would prefer to go home with another kitty pal that would help him recover his confidence and trust. Bloom is looking for a foster-to-adopt family that would be willing to work with his shyness and help him get over his frequent kitty colds. The way it works is that you would foster Bloom for a year and during that time we will cover his medical expenses at the Animal clinic we work within Elgin. We know that after a year you will feel like that he is the most precious cat in the world and would not want to let this sweet boy go. At that point, you can adopt him and have him officially join your family. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety.
