Story
Columbia is a pretty 3 month old solid gray kitten girl. She has two sides! She is both sweet, cautious and gentle, and also a fiercely energetic player. She will leap bravely in the air chasing her wand toys and run like crazy from room to room. While cautious at first when meeting new people and other cats, Columbia quickly warms up. She loves to nuzzle her favorite humans for pets and snuggles. Columbia enjoys tussling with her brother, Colby. She would enjoy being adopted with him or into a home with a welcoming resident cat. She may also be fine as a single kitten in a home with someone home most of the time. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. Brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! Please email gotfriendlies@gmail.com or call (630) 881-7459 for more information

Story
Handsome 3 month old Steven is a high energy bundle of soft, gray fur. He has elegant narrow stripes and hazel eyes and is likely a Russian Blue mix. Steven is a fierce hunter of balls and cloth mousies and loves it when his human makes a wand toy dance for him to catch. After a hard game of chase, he loves nothing more than a snuggle on his human's lap. Steven needs a kitty companion and would like to be adopted with one of his foster sisters (Madden, Madeira or Magenta). He could also be a good companion for a young, active resident cat who would play with him. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. Story
Bloom is a long thin boy with soulful eyes. His favorite pastime is watching birds but he has playful moments too. Bloom loves boxes and cubby holes or dressers to hide in and take a nap. He had quite an adventure when he was left outside. The experience left him feeling cautious around people. He would prefer to go home with another kitty pal that would help him recover his confidence and trust. Bloom is looking for a foster-to-adopt family that would be willing to work with his shyness and help him get over his frequent kitty colds. The way it works is that you would foster Bloom for a year and during that time we will cover his medical expenses at the Animal clinic we work within Elgin. We know that after a year you will feel like that he is the most precious cat in the world and would not want to let this sweet boy go. At that point, you can adopt him and have him officially join your family. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Bloom will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep him in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to him. If that is something you would like to do please fill the Bashful Cat match https://forms.gle/fRm4snuyfnSBaVgR9 It will help determine if you and our bashful kitty will have a great life together. If you are a match we will ask that you complete the standard Survey as a next step July 21, 2024, 12:13 am
