Doesn’t make a mess super shy, it takes her a while to feel comfortable with people. Doesn’t like to be picked up unless it’s by someone she’s comfortable with Shy with strangers, always hides when I have visitors Ok with car rides, sleeps normally in my lap I recently found out I’m pregnant and my husband is not letting me keep her. She’s not a fan of pets at home. I love her so much but I have no choice

Meet Petunia! Petunia is a petite, Russian Blue mix female with emerald green eyes which will draw you in. She is about a year and a half, but wise beyond her years. Her coat is a deep gray with silver tipped paws, and a medium fluff. Petunia is an extremely friendly gal who will thrive in a quiet home where her people will be patient with her and give her the time and space while she becomes comfortable in her new home. As much as she enjoys being petted, Petunia is a fan of getting her beauty sleep. She sleeps most of the day, but by the afternoon she is ready to join her people. If your schedule requires a quiet uninterrupted home during the day, she may be a great fit. Her foster mom reports that Petunia is a joy to have in her house. She is low maintenance, clean, and quiet. She absolutely loves being brushed. She will jump into your lap as soon as she knows she’s going to get a good brushing. Petunia does well with respectful school aged kids, and with welcoming resident cats, after a slow introduction period. All cats and kittens are up to date on vaccinations for their age, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and FeLV/FIV negative. Our kittens are lovingly fostered in homes until adopted. Approved applicants will be invited for a meet-and-greet. Apply at https://www.whiskermission.org/adopt. An adoption contract is required, and fees are $125 for one kitten or $175 for two. We accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of Chicago’s western suburbs.

Meet Ice Ice Baby. Ice Ice Baby is a peopleloving, attentionseeking, purrmachine of a cat. He wants pets, scratches, and involvement in every activity. His snaggletooth gives him irresistible charm, and his purr rumbles like a tiny engine. He’s adventurous, super active, and surprisingly fast. He loves to play, explore, and check out every corner of the house. He’s also very social with other cats and makes friends easily. Ice Ice Baby is bonded to his “brother” Woody. They became brothers when they bonded over their shared IBS, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They’re looking for a home that understands their specialneeds care and wants to keep them together. Ice Ice Baby has IBS/IBD, so he needs a consistent specialty diet and an adopter who understands his sensitive stomach. He uses the litter box reliably and thrives with routine. If you’re searching for lively, affectionate, endlessly charming cats, Ice Ice Baby and Woody are ready to join your family. Adoption Information Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV.
