Story
Meet Twisted Tea! This adorable grey girl is as bubbly and full of life as her name suggests! Miss Tea loves everyone she meets — people, cats, dogs — you name it. She’s an outgoing, affectionate sweetheart who purrs like a hemi-engine the moment you start rubbing her ears. Miss Tea may have been born with a deformed back left leg, but don’t tell her that — it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’s a playful, energetic kitten who loves to zoom around, chase toy mice, and proudly carry them in her mouth like trophies. Her leg will need to be amputated in the future, but she’s expected to live a completely happy, active life as a tripod kitty. Currently fostered with an adult male cat and a large dog, Miss Tea fits right in and makes friends easily. She’s confident, cuddly, and full of personality — the total package! If you’re looking for a social, spirited kitten who will fill your home with purrs, play, and endless love, Miss Tea is your girl! Questions? We proudly have over 17,000 successful adoptions and excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We’re a nonprofit on a mission—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life— the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another. Follow our journey and stay connected! 🌐 threelittlepittiesrescue.org 📘 facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue 📸 instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
Ollie was a kitten that was given to me by a close friend when I first started nursing school. She loves to cuddle but is easily intimidated by other animals. Several years ago she presented with feline calicivirus (FCV). When we brought her to the vet she tried supportive treatment but had already had began to lose some teeth and had respiratory symptoms like congestion and eye drainage. We have focused on comfort as she is now blind in her right eye and continues to have congestion. Despite this she is a loving cat that is still able to eat solid food and play. She loves taking naps and cuddling. I love this cat but it has become increasingly difficult in our household because we have three cats and a toddler who just turned 2. I really want someone who can adopt her and give her the love she deserves. Unfortunately our attempt to re-homing her is that with her right eye blindness she is more guarded with our son and other cats as well as our puppy.

Story
Smoky is a man of mysteries. He is a big boy with an even bigger personality. He is comfortable with other cats/kittens, but prefers his space. He has met the foster family dog and had little interest or concern. He would be wonderful as an only cat/companion animal because he does love attention.  He's very affectionate! He loves to take naps in beams of sun, and doesn't really play that much. A quiet, chill house would be great for this guy. Smoky is FIV+ and had stomatitus. To treat this autoimmune disease, his teeth were removed and he's done much better without them. He's a good eater and loves his friskies.  We estimate his birth year to be 2017. Smoky was abandoned by his "family", who moved and left him behind. He remained in the neighborhood where he returned to his home each night and sat on the porch. We discovered his situation when a neighbor called about a colony of community cats they were feeding. Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm (Smoky is FIV+). They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. You can download it from HERE OR directly ONLINE If your application is approved we conduct a home visit for final approval of adoption.
