Female, Young
Baltimore, MD
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
People, let me tell you about your new beeeeeest friend ... because I'm pretty sure it's ME! My name is Betsy, and I am ready to make myself the fun-loving, kiss-giving, happiest-girl-ever center of your world.Other dogs? Love them! Outdoor smells? Love them! Chew toys? Love them! People? Love them! Things that remind me of chew toys? Love them! I'm still working on that last part -- I'm only 1 year old, so I need a bestie (or two!) who can help me practice my commands and help me remember which toys are mine and which shoes are yours. Don't worry about crate training, though -- I've got that skill mastered. If you need a new BFF who loves to play and who will return your attention with ALL the tail-wags and love she can give (and who totally rocks a bandana on top of it all), then you can stop looking -- I'm here, and I'm ready for you!If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - - and choose me, Betsy! My adoption fee is $350 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

CURLY Breed: beagle Age: 11 weeks Weight: 10 pounds Adoption Fee: $375 Vetting Status: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed and maintained on heartworm preventatives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ April showers bring... Three Stooges? Larry, Curly & Moe are a pint sized trio of beagle-tude, each ready to bring laughs as a solo act. The Stooges are 11 weeks old, crate trained, & working on their potty skills. They are super sweet, sassy, & smart. Larry is the brainy one. Curly the super social, kissy, big guy. Moe is the adorable, quiet wallflower... so somewhat the reverse of his more famous namesake. They will be ready for new homes in late April. We encourage you to submit an adoption application ASAP if interested, as we expect them to be adopted quickly!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CURLY is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore. An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!

Male, 1 yr
Baltimore, MD
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Tucker is a 1 year old dog in his goofy teenager phase. He is so smart and loyal but will test his boundaries. He is very friendly and respectful when meeting new people. He walks so well on a leash you have to do a double take that he is still connected to it. He is extremely active and enjoys all things sports (spring pole, flirt pole, treadmill, ball). Tucker would do best with older kids in his home, he can be selective with other dogs so proper introductions are a requirement. Tucker lives for structure and he would do best in a home that continues with his training and structure. Tucker is a friendly boy who does well at events, he's very smart and has been through training where he has learned so many skills that he loves to show off. He is also house and crate trained. You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please visit to fill out an application. For further information contact
