Meet BARNEY! This adorable, sweetheart just took his freedom ride! Look at that smiling face with the expressive eyes! Barney is about 5 years old, 29 pound, tri-color beagle. Barney can be playful, but also loves to settle down to hang out with his humans, especially if its in a fluffy bed! He likes to meet people, other dogs, and ignores the kitties. He is the typical adorable small beagle! If you are looking for a very sweet, happy dog, Barney may be the one for you! Barney found himself through no fault of his own in a rural North Carolina shelter. Poor Barney did not understand why no one came to get him and he had lost the comforts of a home. PetConnect came to his rescue, and brought him to the DC area to find his new home. Barney loves his food (he's beagle!), likes to cuddle, and would be a great companion. Barney is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and eager to find his special person to love! The adoption fee for Barney is $350, which includes routine vetting, vaccines, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment. ***Please note that the first step is to fill out an application (It does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit).
