Story
Dudley is a shy 30 lb poodle mix who needs a calm, patient home to help him feel secure. This guy has been through a lot and is a little slow to trust, but once he warms up he is the sweetest, most loyal companion, and has a lot of energy! He is in incredibly affectionate and playful with his people and loves being close by. Due to his shyness, he would do best in a home with adults or dog-savvy kids ages 12+ only. He may do best with another dog in the home to help show him the ropes.

Story
Talbina is a sweet senior poodle who is just looking for her forever home. Briefly dispirited by the loss of her former home and family, tiny Talbina (well, she’s about 20 pounds so maybe more medium Talbina) took it hard when she arrived at the shelter but has begun to blossom since she’s been in foster. Talbina is outgoing, going from volunteer to volunteer at Muttville looking for pets and cuddles, and maybe a treat or two, but she also gets along famously with the other mutts. Talbina really thrives in a cozy, cottagecore setting, so she’s willing to turn your house into a home if you’ll just take a chance on her. Can you give this little lady the home for the holidays that she clearly deserves? Here's some notes from her foster: Talbina is a little lady who does her own thing. Talbina is very food motivated and due to her vision, she is better with receiving treats with an open palm or putting them on the ground and pointing at it. She enjoys three meals a day with a lick mat snack. Talbina would do well in a home that is either on ground floor, has elevator access, or her owner does not mind carrying her up/down stairs (she’s 20ish lbs). She would also do well in a household without infant, toddlers, or young children. Talbina would do well where she is the only dog or has another animal that also likes its space may be best. Talbina has limited mobility and therefore can only go on short walks or quick trips outside to go to the bathroom. Talbina spends most of her days napping on a soft blanket. While carrying Talbina, she will rest her head on your shoulder to let you know she is cozy. She loves warm laundry out of the dryer. She runs hot at night and she will move around to get comfortable. She’s a lady who knows what she wants.

Story
Looks like: Poodle mix Female, 9 years old (estimated), 12 pounds Tarzan and Jane are a bonded pair who just couldn't possibly get any sweeter. Tarzan is a sweet, gentle boy with a tender heart. Jane, his devoted partner, is also incredibly loving but has very limited vision. And this is where their story truly shines: Tarzan is Jane's rock and her guide. He helps her navigate the world, offering comfort, confidence, and quiet reassurance wherever they go. Where she hesitates, he leads. Where she's unsure, he stands close. Together, Tarzan and Jane face long odds through no fault of their own. They don't need much, just a safe, quiet home, soft beds, and someone willing to open their heart to two dogs who have already proven how deeply they can love. If you've ever thought about doing something truly meaningful, please consider opening your heart to this sweet pair. Tarzan and Jane joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. They were picked up as strays. Due to their senior status and Jane's vision impairments, they felt they would do best in the hands of a senior rescue.
