Cheri is a Star Wars dog (born May 4th); almost 7, acts like a puppy, is so lovable. She came from a breeder in Indiana called Puppies by Design. We love her so much. I travel extensively for work. I just can’t manage dog care due to my schedule. Cheri is a true gift of unconditional love and will immediately capture your heart.

Story
This is Kip, who we believe to be a Mini Schnauzer/Poodle Mix. Kip ended up on the door step of a neighbor during this past cold weather storm. Cold, wet, ungroomed, and matted up, Kip asked our neighbors to take him in. Since they couldn't without risking their bigger dogs hurting poor Kip, we volenteered to take him in until we could reunite him with his family. 4 weeks later, and no luck. Here is some important info about Kip. In short, we believe he needs a home that has the time and patience to help Kip past the trauma he has been put through. In these short 4 weeks he has quickly become my right hand man. so he is capable. -Schnauzer/Poodle Mix. -Around 1 year old. -Not fixed. -99% Angel, 1% Demon. -Hates collars and harnesses. Past trauma. -Occasionally territorial. Growls and Bites. -Very loving most of the times. -Barks only at passerby’s. Mostly quiet. -Indoor dog. Let me know if you guys know anybody that is interested. Located near Lodi. I can deliver if need be.

Story
Maggie is a ten pound poodle and possibly schnauzer mix. She is three to four years old. She came into the Merced shelter as an injured stray. She was lame on a rear leg and a vet visit showed that she had a broken pelvis. Surgery was planned, but when she arrived for the procedure a new x ray showed that the break had already healed enough in the position it was in that plating was no longer the best option. We were advised to do our best to keep activity low to allow her to finish healing. Recent x rays show that she has healed well and is ready for adoption. She needs to go on multiple short walks each day to rebuild muscle and will soon be as good as new. No further treatment is needed. She is a non shedding dog that will need regular brushing and hair cuts to keep her coat looking great. She loves all people and other dogs. She loves to snuggle in a lap. We don't have a cat, but I think she could do well with a proper introduction and some training. If you think Maggie is the right pet for your family, please submit an application to adopt. Her foster mom will call you to talk about how she would fit into your home. Please note, if you don't hear from us within a few days, please assume she has found a great home.
