Story
Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and not when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention. He would love to have a home with another young dog since he is used to having siblings to play with. 🐶 Adopters must live in the DFW area 🐶 Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), 🐶 Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. Story
Tina is a shy little girl that was raised in a breeding program, but she did not get pregnant. She is now part of Ready 2 Rescue, so that she can find a forever home. She is 2 years old and only weighs about 5 lbs. She is a toy poodle, and is very sweet, but still very shy. We are working with her, and she gets very excited to see us, but runs when you reach to pet her or pick her up. If you go get her and pick her up slowly, she does well and will stay in your arms. She is not accustomed to the affection, but we are hopeful with time, patience, and love she will grow to love it. If you are interested in "Tiny Tina", go to ready2rescue@yahoo.com and let us know. We will send you an application via email. Once approved, we can schedule a day and time you can come meet her. Rebel is a sweet guy that was previously used in breeding. He's 5 yrs old and weighs 7 lbs.. He's a miniature poodle, and a real snuggle bug, once he gets to know you. He's friendly and will come up to strangers, but won't let you pet or pick him up until he gets to know you. He's not house trained yet, as he has lived his life until now in a dog run. He had a leg wound when we took him into rescue, but it has healed since then, but the hair still needs to grow back. He's going to be a great addition to any family, and will win your heart if you meet him! If interested, email us at ready2rescue@yahoo.com or call Bob with Ready 2 Rescue at 214-681-5978.His adoption donation is $500, which covers his neuter, shots, and Heartworm test. For approval, you will need to have a vet history showing you've done shots and Heartworm prevention with previous dogs.
