Story
Introducing London! She is a beautiful boxer/American bulldog mix (per dna test) who was out of time in the shelter. Her estimated dob is 3/1/24 and should be around 50 to 55lbs full grown. London is doing well.  She is a typical puppy who needs rules and boundaries. London needs proper introductions to strangers.  She is easily redirected to her toys and has been good about not chewing things in the house  She does like to dig a little and explore the yard.  She is doing great with the other pack members in the house and loves her visits to another foster to play with a group of youngsters!.  She is an exuberant player. And London really likes the water! We are walking in the neighborhood daily.  She is also learning basic commands. She is now on to the Intermediate obedience class and is picking up the commands quickly.  London stays in a crate at night and when her foster mom is away from the house. Potty training has been conquered. And London uses a dog door.  Car rides are also going well.  Cats are unknown. London's wish list: 1.   Secure yard 2.   Adult only home 3.   Obedience training ongoing 4.   Daily walks 5.   Continued socialization   6.   A playful dog friend would be good too!   Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aggie! (Formerly Ronan, but he’s upgraded—new name, same adorable chaos.) Born on October 16th, Aggie is a 27-pound snuggle nugget  which is the perfect size for lap warming, bed hogging, and dramatically throwing himself into your arms like the star of a telenovela. With a gorgeous seal-colored coat, a heart of gold, and just enough goofball energy to keep your life interesting. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to wiggle his way straight into your lap and your heart. Aggie didn’t have the easiest start. He and his three siblings came from a heartbreaking situation—only two survived after being neglected by another rescue, and his dog mom checked out early on. The pups were dangerously underweight and had to be bottle-fed back to health. So yeah, Aggie has seen some things… and he’s here to tell the tale (mostly through zoomies and enthusiastic barking at the wind). Because of that rocky start, Aggie resource guards his food—totally understandable—so he’s fed in his crate. Outside the food bowl? Total love bug. Raised with other dogs, he’s playful, social, and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to wrestle and romp with. Now, full disclosure: Aggie isn’t gunning for “Dog Jeopardy” any time soon. But what he lacks in academic ambition, he makes up for in charm and commitment to being the most snuggly loaf in the room. I can't say it enough, he thrives on affection, belly rubs, and curling up as close to you as physically possible—he's basically a weighted blanket with legs. Now, don’t be fooled by his size—Aggie has the energy of a dog twice his weight and the vocal cords of a town crier. Is that a bird? A breeze? A suspicious-looking Amazon box? You’ll hear about it. (We suspect there’s some chihuahua in the family tree.) He is probably part chihuahua, part neighborhood watch captain. He may not be the calmest dog on the block, but he makes up for it with charm, resilience, and top-tier cuddling skills. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate sidekick who’s overcome the odds and still greets life with a tail wag and a full-body wiggle—Aggie’s your guy.   You can apply online at:AdoptPet - Recycled Pets NorCalVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2026, 12:08 am

Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?Izzy (short for Isabella because I’m so bella!) ARE YOU A GIRL OR A BOY?I’m a gorgeous girl!  HOW OLD ARE YOU?I was born on November 29, 2018.
WHAT BREED ARE YOU?Just the most perfect Boxer/Pit Bull mix! HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?I’m 80 pounds of pure love! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?I’m a classic, fawn Boxer beauty with soulful brown eyes and natural black eyeshadow.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?I’ll pretty much eat anything but have a soft spot for cheese! Can you blame me, though? Cheese is life! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?I am goofy and playful but also love a good cuddle sesh. I’m loyal to my humans and adore little kids! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY:Oh that’s easy! My perfect day would start with a long walk, popping some bubbles or chasing a ball, then some quality couch time with my humans, followed by a nice long nap.WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?Anything that squeaks will not squeak for very long when I get my paws on it!  DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?I’m good with the basics, sit, stay, leave it, and wait! I am very food motivated, so if you want me to learn more, bring on the treats! WHAT SCARES YOU?On leash, I am sometimes nervous about other dogs, so I tend to react to tell them to stay away from me and my human! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM?I LOVE children, especially little ones! I am so tolerant of their shenanigans, although I appreciate when my humans step in when they start to get a little handsy with me! DO YOU LIKE CATS?Oh, no thanks. I’ll pass on cats!  HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?With slow, structured introductions, I should be alright with large dogs, but I do not want little dogs in my space. As I mentioned earlier, I can get uncomfortable with some dogs when on leash. I’m practicing and getting better, treats can help!   IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?It doesn’t matter where I am as long as we’re together. Right beside my human is the best place in the world! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?I’m very healthy! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?I live with two adults and two children under five years old. My foster mom is my super-favorite person in the world right now, although those littles sure are a lot of fun! WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?I chill. Sometimes on the couch, sometimes on the floor. I take myself out and like to find cool spots in the house. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?Pretty flexible! Couch, floor, dog bed. A crate if I must, but I like crates the least. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?A leash means walks! I love walking on a leash!  DO YOU HAVE ANY "NOT-SO-GREAT" HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? FOR INSTANCE, DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD?Sometimes when I’m on leash I have a hard time telling between friend or foe. Even though I’m big, that doesn’t stop me from acting like a puppy. I am willing to learn, so let’s spend some time working together and have some fun bonding while you teach me what you want me to do! ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? (MEANING DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)Yes, I am! No problems there! Make sure you tell me where and I’ll stick to it.  DO YOU LIKE WATER?I’m not much of a swimmer but I love getting in the water and playing with the hose. Maybe you can teach me how to swim? WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?I love spending time with my foster family, especially all the cuddles. The best is when I get to hang out with the kids.IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER?I’m SO ready to start the next phase of my life with my forever family! Let’s do this! **IZZY’S ADOPTION FEE IS $300.**If you are interested in adopting Izzy, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.orgAt this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County). For more information on what that means and why that is, please click on the following link:https://www.facebook.com/333019703483910/posts/3264412130344638/?extid=0&d=nThank you so much in advance!

Story
Remi is a 2-year-old, 30-pound boxer mix with a great personality. She is affectionate, smart, loyal, and friendly. She is great with children, gets along great with other dogs, and has lived peacefully with a cat. She’s playful, athletic, and would thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, running, camping, or simply living an active lifestyle. I am rehoming her because I work out of town for half of the month, and my circumstances no longer allow me to give her the time and consistency she deserves. She is a high energy dog and is still working on her potty training, so she’ll do best with someone who can provide regular exercise and continued training.

Story
Sierra's Story Sierra is a sweet girl with a gorgeous brindle coat and adorable spotted paws! She was born in 10/2022 and currently weighs 35#. Sierra was adopted from us as a puppy but has been recently returned due to her family not being able to provide the life she deserves. Here are some notes from her fostermom: Sierra loves to go for walks and play fetch. She has been great with our small dogs. She also did well while being boarded. She got along with all of the other dogs, and she even did great with the dog experienced cats! Sierra enjoys cuddling on the couch with my husband and teenage children. She sleeps peacefully in the crate through the night, and crates easily during the day when we leave the house. Sierra appears to be potty trained. She hasn't asked to be let out, but we let our dogs out regularly to go potty and haven't had any issues. The person who cared for her while we were on vacation also reported that Sierra had no accidents while staying with her. Sierra isn't super food motivated, but she will sometimes take higher value treats while working on her sit and down. Sierra has a calm personality unless she is playing or scared. She is very gentle with our 8 lb terrier mix and our 12 lb papillon mix. Sierra needs a fully fenced backyard where she can safely run and play. Sierra has shown some fear of strangers coming into our home, but we are working on that. She barks and tries to run away, but with patience and treats, she learns that strangers can be okay. Sierra needs someone who can guide her through new experiences and situations that may be overwhelming or scary for her. Because of this, if we have a bunch of new people over, I will crate her so she feels safe or keep her on a leash with me, so I can guide her and advocate for her as needed. I think it is possible that Sierra could do great around children, but I feel that she should not live with young children because she is part Australian Cattle Dog and has some herding instincts. Recently, we took Sierra to Petco and TJ Maxx. She did great! She walked nicely through the store and waited patiently in line with us. Sierra is a great dog who deserves a loving home with owners as devoted to her as she is to them. Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Story
Maz is a sweet, energetic young girl who is ready to bring plenty of fun, love, and personality to her forever home! With lots of enthusiasm for playtime and exploring, Maz would thrive with an active family looking for a companion to join them on walks, hikes, outings, and everything in between. When the adventures are over, Maz is always happy to spend quality time with her favorite people. She’s a playful, affectionate companion who would love a family that can keep her active while also giving her plenty of attention and opportunities to relax together. Maz is still learning how to play politely, so we are requiring that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her needs and support her continued training. Maz may do well with other dogs in her new home after a slow introduction. However, she has displayed chasing behaviors toward cats in her previous home. Due to this, we are requiring that there are no cats in Maz’s new household. If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion who is ready to fill your days with play, adventure, and plenty of affection, Maz may be the perfect match for you!Adoption Price: $200

Story
Marcus is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves spending time with his favorite people. Whether he`s heading out for a nice walk, playing with his favorite squeaky toy, or simply hanging out by your side, Marcus is happiest when he`s with the people he loves most. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore, making him a wonderful companion for daily adventures. Like many playful pitties, Marcus can get the zoomies from time to time! When he`s feeling extra excited, he may get a little jumpy and accidentally bump into you while he`s having fun. For that reason, we are recommending that any children in the home be 5 years old or older. Marcus is required to have no cats in the home, as they are not his favorite roommates. He may do well with another dog after slow and proper introductions. If you have a furry friend at home, a meet-and-greet at the shelter is required to make sure everyone is the right fit. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a playful personality and a heart full of love, Marcus is ready to meet you!Adoption Price: $200
