Story
Gus is the definition of chill. When he's not trying his best to sit in your lap or rest his head against you, he's most likely sun bathing or bird watching. He was extremely tolerant and respectful of our large high-energy shepherd. He is crate trained and will often go in his crate on his own when bedtime comes around, as well as being very respectful of our space whenever we needed a break or were busy. He can be a bit reactive towards other dogs and cars while on leash, but this can lessen with training and someone willing to work with him. Gus would be perfect for a homebody or family who want a loyal companion to enjoy cuddle time.

She is now in need of a safe home due to sudden housing instability. Her owner loves her deeply but is unable to bring her to the new location. &#226&#156&#168 Personality & Behavior Friendly with children Has lived with dogs and kids Initially barks at new visitors, but once she meets them, she settles and relaxes If visitors have food, she’ll politely lay down nearby Potty trained Crate trained Allows people to take food and toys No history of biting Lily is affectionate, loyal, and easygoing once she warms up. Ideal Home Lily would do well with a family or individual who can give her a stable environment and continue the care she’s used to. Because she has lived both indoors and outdoors, she can adapt easily, but she loves being near her people. A home with yard access or daily walks would be wonderful. Veterinary Notes Lily has not been seen by a veterinarian recently, but she is reported to be current on vaccines and is spayed. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Shadow is a gentle and gorgeous four-year-old Sharpei mix with a soft white coat and an even softer heart. While he can be shy at first, especially around new people, Shadow quickly warms up and reveals his sweet, playful spirit. One of Shadow’s most endearing quirks is his signature “kangaroo hops.” When he’s excited or happy, he bounces with pure joy, turning even an ordinary greeting into a heart-melting moment. His foster describes how he lights up when they come home, leaping around the house with happiness. Shadow is both potty and crate trained, and though he’s still learning to walk confidently on a leash, he’s making steady progress. He understands simple commands like sit, down, and come, especially when there’s food involved — treats, particularly duck treats, are his greatest motivator. Once he trusts you, Shadow is very gentle when taking them. Though he doesn’t care much for toys, Shadow thrives on human connection. He's great with adults, kids, cats and other dogs. He hasn’t shown food or toy aggression, and while car rides make him nervous, his calm temperament and eagerness to please make him a wonderful companion. The ideal home for Shadow is one with a fenced in backyard, where he’ll be showered with love and patience, surrounded by people who see the joy in his quirky kangaroo hops and celebrate his gentle soul. With consistency and affection, Shadow will blossom into the devoted best friend every dog lover dreams of.
