Please meet Lady Penny of House Squishyton. Penny is a very sweet, patient, and affectionate dog. She loves to play with stuffed toys. She gets along with everyone, and enjoys playing with other dogs. She look fabulous in pink because it brings out the pink in nose. She is a wonderful girl. She is medically cleared, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is 1 years old per our estimation. Oh, and she loves to go on car rides, and out for walks on the leash. Penny walks beautifully and is great on a leash. She is crate trained, housebroken, sits, stays, and is working on giving a paw, She is learning how to play fetch with a tennis ball too. she enjoys car rides, walks, and likes to accompany her peeps to restaurants. She loves puppacinnos and milk bones. She is a ginger haired beauty with amber eyes, and a very soft muzzle. She is indeed squishy, loveable lady who is looking for a devoted family to love her forever.. Penny loves kids too!! Penny was abandoned, found terrified in a rainy parking lot before Christmas. No one came for her during her stray hold. She truly is a wonderful girl! Update: she has mastered give a paw!

Bear is a happy guy, only about 40 pounds, that was confiscated from his home and his owner didn't come for him. He previously lived with a male pitbull, but shelter felt he tested better with small dogs and wasn't as comfortable with large dogs. So far, he is doing well with another shar pei in his foster home, and his foster mom describes him as goofy and affectionate. Bear does best eating separately as he can have some food aggression. When walking on a leash, he can be reactive around other dogs and pull, some some leash training will be recommended. Bear knows or is leaning his basic commands. He knows sit, almost has stay and will learn quickly! Bear loves toys and baby talk and will cuddle. He’s been around oldee kids with his foster mom, but he doesnt know how to react to small kids. Bear would do best with an experienced shar pei owner. Bear is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He is fostering in a San Francisco suburb.June 6, 2023, 10:59 pm

Poppy is a gorgeous spayed female shar-pei that is looking for her forever home. Originally from a shelter, she is looking for a home with an experienced shar pei (or similar breed) owner. Poppy needs a strong owner that will take the pack leader role. Poppy has had professional training and knows sit, stay, recall, heel, place (for her dog bed) and more. Poppy would do best in a home that embraces crate training or is willing to use a crate for limited situations (initial transition to home, strangers or workmen in home, etc). Training session(s) with her trainer are available for her new adoptive family. Poppy also appears to be fine with cats. She is healthy, is on no medications or special foods. She walks very well on a leash, is housetrained, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. She loves to give kisses, seeks out attention and generally is a great dog! She would love a yard, is up for long walks or hikes! Poppy came in with another dog and does best with submissive or neutral dogs. She isnt a fan of dogs running up on her and barking at her. We initially rescued Dex at 12 weeks. He is now a year and a half old. Dex is smart, cuddly, and cute. He is very gentle and loving with people. Dex loves to be outside and to people watch from a patio/window. He is house trained and potty trained. He knows basic commands. While Dex is very independent, he needs an owner who can be around and present. He is crate trained, but his anxiety causes him to whine and howl when left in his crate alone. This is the main reason we are looking to rehome Dex. We live in a small apartment, and we are afraid that Dex's howling and whining can be heard by our neighbors. While Dex currently lives with another puppy, we believe he may be happier and more confident in a home without other pets or children. We are looking for someone who will love Dex and who will have the time and patience to work with his anxiety needs. We believe Dex would be happiest living in a home that has a fenced in yard.

Momo came to our rescue when his owner passed away due to Covid-19. Momo is a little guy around 30 pounds and nine years old. He gets along well with other dogs, and has been a great older dog with younger foster mates. He truly is a gem of a dog, and loves to curl up in a bed and look up at you with soulful eyes. We are looking for a home that would love a senior guy who has such a zest for life and a lot of spunk left in his step! Because he had undergone a specialized surgery, his diet was difficult to manage for the family, dealing with grief. He has been with us about a year as we managed his diet and medication and is finally ready for his next forever home! We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.
