Meet Kiko Kiko is a 2-year-old neutered male with a coat as unique as his personality—shifting between a gorgeous gray and warm brown depending on the light. He’s truly a handsome boy who turns heads wherever he goes. True to his Shar Pei nature, Kiko can be a little standoffish when you first meet him. He likes to take his time getting to know new people, but give him a few days and you’ll see his loyal, affectionate side shine through. Once you’re in his circle, you’re in for good. Kiko is wonderfully well-mannered. He does great in a kennel and can be trusted to free roam the house when left alone. Currently fostered with four other dogs, he gets along well with canine companions—especially those who match his laid-back vibe. Kiko believes most things are “a tomorrow problem” and would thrive in a mellow home with easygoing dog friends who move at his pace. He enjoys leisurely walks where he can take in the world around him, and he absolutely loves sunbathing outside—give him a warm patch of sunshine and he’s one happy boy. She came to us nearly hairless due to severe neglect. Over the past three months, with proper care and lots of love, her coat has slowly started to grow back in—but she still has a long road ahead of her. Bubba Things you’ll love: Bubba is smart and very loyal to his people. He really loves to lay down at the foot of the bed and spoon with a human which is just maybe one of the most incredible feelings in the world. He’s independent and will check in every once and awhile. He loves to be outside and he loves putting his head in your chest while you cover his head. I’m sure you will discover many other funny things about him. …but really if you wanna make him the happiest tell him it’s time to go on a walk. He will grumble and wag his whole body. Bubba is a quiet dog unless he is alerted to someone at the door. He doesn’t bark with a passerby. Bubba has been around many dogs, but in my opinion, he would be best as a lone dog or with a calm dog that will give him space. Bubba has lived with and done well with cats. Rose is currently in a foster home and doing great learning her manners. She’s smart, gentle, and eager to please. If you’re looking for a loving companion with classic Boxer charm and a tender heart, Rose might be your perfect match. Rose is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Rose is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly.
