Story
Meet Kiko Kiko is a 2-year-old neutered male with a coat as unique as his personality—shifting between a gorgeous gray and warm brown depending on the light. He’s truly a handsome boy who turns heads wherever he goes. True to his Shar Pei nature, Kiko can be a little standoffish when you first meet him. He likes to take his time getting to know new people, but give him a few days and you’ll see his loyal, affectionate side shine through. Once you’re in his circle, you’re in for good. Kiko is wonderfully well-mannered. He does great in a kennel and can be trusted to free roam the house when left alone. Currently fostered with four other dogs, he gets along well with canine companions—especially those who match his laid-back vibe. Kiko believes most things are “a tomorrow problem” and would thrive in a mellow home with easygoing dog friends who move at his pace. He enjoys leisurely walks where he can take in the world around him, and he absolutely loves sunbathing outside—give him a warm patch of sunshine and he’s one happy boy. Because loud, sudden noises can startle him, Kiko would do best in a home without the hustle and bustle of young children. A calm, steady environment will help him feel safe and allow his sweet personality to fully blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a soulful gaze and a heart of gold, Kiko just might be your perfect match. February 16, 2026, 8:49 pm

Story
Meet Piglet At around 4 years old, this spayed female Shar Pei has fully embraced her role as royalty—and she expects you to do the same. Piglet is the unquestioned queen of her foster home and has her foster dad completely wrapped around her paw. On chilly Colorado nights, she doesn’t bark or beg… she simply gives him the look, and up he goes to switch on her heated blanket. As it should be. Piglet’s journey hasn’t always been so glamorous. She came to us nearly hairless due to severe neglect. Over the past three months, with proper care and lots of love, her coat has slowly started to grow back in—but she still has a long road ahead of her. Piglet will need a home with shar pei experience, committed to continuing her medical care and giving her the extra attention she deserves. She may be a bit high maintenance, but don’t worry—she promises she’s absolutely worth it. And oh, is she ever. Piglet gives the very best “gnome kisses” (you’ll know when you get one!) and her whole body wiggles with joy when she’s happy—which is often. Beneath her royal expectations is a deeply affectionate, resilient girl who just wants to be cherished and comfortable. If you’re ready to serve a tiny, wrinkly queen with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Piglet is ready to rule your home.  February 13, 2026, 10:33 am

Bubba Things you’ll love: Bubba is smart and very loyal to his people. He really loves to lay down at the foot of the bed and spoon with a human which is just maybe one of the most incredible feelings in the world. He’s independent and will check in every once and awhile. He loves to be outside and he loves putting his head in your chest while you cover his head. I’m sure you will discover many other funny things about him. …but really if you wanna make him the happiest tell him it’s time to go on a walk. He will grumble and wag his whole body. Bubba is a quiet dog unless he is alerted to someone at the door. He doesn’t bark with a passerby. Bubba has been around many dogs, but in my opinion, he would be best as a lone dog or with a calm dog that will give him space. Bubba has lived with and done well with cats.  Things to work on: leash walking. he pulls because he’s just so dang excited. He doesn’t dig but he pushes his back legs back when he’s outside. It’s also funny.January 27, 2026, 3:38 pm

Story
Rose is everything you expect from a Boxer, affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s as close to her humans as possible, she can be timid and shy at first, but she warms up quickly and forms deep bonds when she feels safe. She gets along wonderfully with other animals and would thrive in a home with furry companions, but she’d also do great as an only pet receiving all the attention. Rose is currently in a foster home and doing great learning her manners. She’s smart, gentle, and eager to please. If you’re looking for a loving companion with classic Boxer charm and a tender heart, Rose might be your perfect match. Rose is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Rose is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Kona is a beautiful boxer mix who will be 3 years old this May. She is full of love, joy, and personality, and she has the biggest heart. She forms strong bonds with her people and truly just wants to be close to those she loves. She is a high-energy girl who needs space to run, play, and be herself, so a home with a backyard is very important for her. Kona would do best as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention, though a calm, small dog may be okay with the right match and slow introduction. She is house trained and crate trained. She would thrive in a home with a family or individual who is home most of the time and can give her the time, exercise, and companionship she needs. Kona is loyal, people-focused, and wants nothing more than to be someone’s constant companion. January 21, 2026, 2:01 pm
