Say hello to Irene! She is a 7 year old Shar Pei mix who weighs 28 pounds. Irene is a sensitive lady who definitely takes her time getting to know new people. She is still very nervous with staff and isn't quite ready to snuggle up with anyone yet, but she is a master of relaxation! As you can see from her adorable pictures she is always ready to snuggle up on her bed for an afternoon nap. Irene loves being outside and enjoys soaking in all of the smells for the day. She isn't too strong and walks well on a leash, although she is spooked by loud noises so she prefers to walk in a quieter environment. Since she is such a sensitive girl, she would prefer an adult only home where she has plenty of time to come out of her shell. Irene shows potential with another dog and may really enjoy living in a home with another laid back dog that can give her the confidence to explore the world around her. She is an adorable girl who can't wait to find a family to call her own!
