Cream is a very sweet and loving dog. He's relaxed and laid back for the most part but he does love to move around and needs to be walked and played with to let some of his energy out. When walking he pulls a bit but as long as you use a slip leash (we can give you one) he's easily manageable. Cream isn't overly aggressive but around other dogs he does tend to mark (once he is neutered it should stop). He's also good around guests he just has to be introduced and get used to them. Typically when he sees someone new he'll bark a bit and jump a bit. If you have any questions about him please reach out and let me know!

Meet Moonbeam, the sweetest companion you could wish for! Moonbeam adores being petted and is very treat-motivated, making her a joy to train. She has a playful spirit and loves to spend time with her toys. On walks, Moonbeam is a great leash walker who enjoys stopping to smell the flowers. She's curious about other dogs but doesn't get overly focused on them, making her easy to handle. A meet and greet with any potential dog siblings is required to ensure a good match. Moonbeam is a big fan of car rides and loves to relax and snooze on the way back from her adventures. She also can't resist a good pup cup treat! If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and easygoing companion, Moonbeam is the perfect match for you.

Edith came to us from a crowded southern Ohio pound. She's a Shar Pei mix and has been doing well in her foster home! She is friendly with everyone she meets and thinks she's a lap dog! Edith does well on car rides and has quickly become a favorite at the vet! Edith would do well with a fenced yard, she is still working on her leash skills. She is very sweet and would thrive in a home where she would get a lot of attention! Edith needs a home with no cats. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

COURTESY POST Sammy is a 4-year old Shar Pei who is looking for a forever home after his owner died. Sammy loves to share a fluffy blanket and cuddle on the couch or in your bed. He enjoys playing with toys, performing tricks for treats and roaming in the yard. He is content to watch out the window for birds, squirrels and Amazon delivery people. He is very well mannered and loves meeting new people. He is friendly with new dogs that he meets at the park or around the neighborhood. He has been an “only dog” for his whole life and we are unsure how he would react to having a cat, dog or child as a roommate. Sammy weighs 66 pounds. He is up to date on his vaccines. We have all of his medical records. Occasionally suffers from Pyoderma – a common allergic dermatitis common to Shar-Pei and other breeds with loose skin and skin folds. Antibiotic therapy clears his skin quickly. He is nervous around the vet and requires some anti-anxiety medication for the visit. $200 re-homing fee applies.
