Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quickly as possible, answering the questions below, help us greatly. Hi there, I'm Leo! I am a Pitbull/Shar-Pei Mix, 2-3yrs old and female. Leo was found as stray, though investigation we found some information, I lived with children and one of those children named me Leo, my family some life events come up and couldn't keep me, I was left with a someone but they also couldn't keep me anymore. I showed the shelter team that I am very sweet, I love everyone, I am eager to learn, I listen well, I love to play with toys and I love to get affection. I would love an active home, maybe someone who likes to go on adventures and can buy me lots of toys. My adoption fee is $250, includes spay, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and 1pound bag of food. 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. How many humans and ages live in your home? 3. How many animals and types? 4. Do you have time for daily walks or jogs? 5. Are you active, hiking etc? 6. Do you have the time for training? 7. Do you have the time to give her hugs and kisses? 8. Have you ever owned a Pitbull or Shar-Pei before, before, if so please tell us about them. 9. What would a typical Leo day be like?

Story
Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Sasha is fostering in Northern California (Napa area).July 24, 2024, 2:02 pm

Story
Daisy is an amazing 4 1/2 year old female shar pei that would fit into almost any home.    She is spayed, has had obedience training, and is full of fun and energy. Daisy loves the other foster dogs in her home (especially the males).    And she is all about the kisses with her foster parents.    Daisy met some cats when she was training and totally ignored them.  She knows commands such as sit, stay, place (to go to her mat or raised bed), come (sometimes she has selective hearing on this one) and others.   She is house-trained, crate-trained and is familiar with an electronic training collar and loves to please. Daisy would love a yard to run around in, always appreciates a good bone, loves toys and even goes to boarding on occasion when her foster parents do a weekend getaway.  The boarding place gives her very good reviews!     She would do  best in a home without small kids because she is a bit afraid of them and will bark and be nervous around them. Daisy is fostering in Oregon City, OR and weighs about 45 pounds.July 24, 2024, 2:02 pm

Story
Stubs is a fun-loving, happy, active, neutered male shar-pei. He has been neutered, has had entropion eyelid surgery and is looking for an active owner or family to go on adventures with! But don't worry, Stubs can amuse himself for hours with toys! He would love to play soccer or fetch, and would be a great running or hiking companion. As a bonus, he tested well with other dogs (or course wanting to play)! He was overlooked at a northern California shelter for too long and is now with Pei People! Stubs is about 57 pounds and up for any adventure. He would do best in a home with a yard or someone that exercises him regularly. Note that some of his photos show a long tail. His tail was amputated at the shelter after suffering from happy tail (he was so happy and wagging it would not heal from a wound). His tail is now a few inches long (think boxer length). Hence his name, Stubs! Stubs is fostering in the Portland, OR area.July 24, 2024, 2:02 pm

Sweet Alba. How can you not love that adorable face Alba is a Sharpei mix. Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. All that is behind her now and she is ready for her own family!! Alba's great with dogs, not sure about cats. She does a cute little dance when waiting for her food in her crate. Loves to play but sometimes does get a bit overly excited. Please share and help find her furever home. Available for adoption through https://godsdogsrescue.org/ and transport is available Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
So you know about my "kissable" mug, right?? Shar peis have the big "fluffy" cheeks and soft sweet nose, not to mention the eyes that stare into your SOUL!! Yes, that is ME!!! Now I am a Shar Pei mixed girl, but it's as obvious when you meet me, as the nose on YOUR face :) I am Annabelle and I was dumped with my 9 puppies when they were teeny and I was starving :( LUCKILY, we were dumped by one of our AMAZING public servants (Fire Chief) and his wife, they knew they couldn't just leave us to die... SO THEY SAVED US!!! And let me tell you, we are A LOT of love, kissing and WRINKLES! My pups are all being adopted and I am ready for MY furever home too!! I am so sweet and gentle, I love to play with my doggy friends and puppies but no kitties need apply!! Not a fan of the claws, lol. I am such a good girl that you won't miss not having a kitty anyway :) I am ready for a medium energy home, I love to lay around plenty but can get a little excitement for other things like hiking or neighborhood walking. Look me up and adopt me!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
