Story
Jade is a beautiful 4 year old female Shar Pei who came into a shelter as a stray. This is what her foster mom had to say about her: She is very nice, happy, quiet. Will bark if the neighbors make loud noises. She knows sit and will come with a little encouragement. She does pull a little on the leash. She is scared of cars driving by, so walking in an area without traffic will be needed or planning to work with her on this phobia. She sleeps in her own bed, but sleeps in my chair or the couch when I’m working. For a treats, she basically opens her mouth and expects you to pop it in.She eats well, but could still put some more weight on. Jade loves to be out in the yard, so on nice days, I just leave the door open for her to come and go. She loves to nap in sun spots, and will inch worm her way across the living room to stay in the sun. Jade is just starting to play, easy on the toys, and loves chew bones. She can be a little shy with hand movements; she ducks initially, but once you start petting she is a happy camper. Jade is not a crate girl, in any form or for any length of time, so a home that doesn't expect to use crates is best. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and fostering in the Oregon City, OR area.  She weighs approximately 54lbs.March 22, 2025, 11:22 pm

Story
Frank spent several months at a Southern California shelter and was overlooked. Well, this boy is outstanding and is looking for a forever home. Frank is between 4-5yrs old, knows basic commands, is good on a leash and attended playgroup at the shelter. Frank was also an only dog prior to the shelter, so he will likely do well with or without other dogs. Frank's fun personality and desire for snuggles cannot be denied! This boy is full of love and fun. He walks well on a leash. Frank is neutered, has already had entropion eyelid surgery, is up to date on vaccines and is fostering in the Portland, Oregon area.  He is about 50 pounds.April 4, 2025, 11:31 am

Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Who's better than the rest-y? That's right, it's me, Betsy! I am a cool Chinese Shar-Pei mixed female with a Tuxedo colored coat and white socks! My facial features even have a cool black and white coloring to them too! I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation alongside my siblings, thing's weren't looking good for us. But our big-hearted rescuers saved us and got us on the road to better care and living great lives! Betsy likes to chew on big bones, occasionally wiggle her ears around, and bark at squirrels. Now we're on our way to finding our forever homes. Learning how to socialize with other dogs, take walks, and play fetch with a ball. Stay tuned for more updates on my journey! This is Betsy signing off! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! SO SO SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart, this one lives there. Cue the music for My Girl, My Girl, My Girl, talking about My Girl...... Cherie aka Mya! She is loyal, gentle, wise beyond her years, and she's the kind of dog who seems to know what you need before you do. Whether that's curling up next to you after a long day at work or being that nurturing loving presence to your kids. Mya is always there. She's the nanny dog of every family's dream too and loves being a family dog. She watches over the little ones, soothes them with a soft nudge or kiss, and places herself beautifully right between chaos and calm. She the kind of dog that counts heads before settling in for a nap, who knows the sound of a baby's cry before you do, and who's always there to be a listening ear for those sweet baby talks. She's not just a dog, she's YOUR heart dog and YOUR kids heart dog. Mya is believed to be a boxer/pittie mix approximately 8 years young, only weighs 45 lbs pounds. She's the perfect medium size, not too big and not too small. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We can promise you that Mya is the sweetest little angel. Mya currently shares her home with a family that has small children, and she ADORES them! The tiny humans she is currently fostered with are ages 6, 3, and 3 months. She is so incredibly gentle and loves being on the receiving end of their kisses, hugs, and giggles galore! She even lets them dress her in cute little outfits! Mya also extends her love and gentleness even towards other children as well. When other kids come over or when she sees other kids out on their walks she is just as loving with them as she is to the ones she is fostered with. She is probably the closest definition to an actual nanny dog. How she is with kids, really is the sweetest thing ever. Mya is even great to take on family walks throughout the neighborhood or local park. She is so easy to walk on a leash and rarely ever pulls. She is so easy that even the 6 year old is able to walk her. Mya also has no issues walking side by side to a stroller as well nor does she ever get in the way of the stroller. Mya also peacefully shares her home with cats and another pup, but she would much prefer to be the princess of her castle and soak up all the love for herself. Nothing short of what she absolutely deserves! That being said, the right family with the right dog and/or cat, could be a possibility. She is the perfect companion for a family that has slowed down a bit, or who prefer the quiet life of couch snuggling and binge watching marathons. Cherie rides well in the car, and is fully house and crate trained! Though she may protest just a little because her favorite thing is to be out with her people! Mya's dream home would have a backyard out in the suburbs away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Not that she minds the loud noises or the crowds of city life, she just a relaxed and calm lady we think would prefer living in a residential neighborhood and would probably love her own yard to sunbathe in on those warm spring and summer days. She also gets excited and does these adorable little jumps to go outside too which is another reason why we prefer to see her go to a home with a yard. Ultimately, wherever she ends up calling "home", Mya is poised to spend her Golden Years giving all of the love and quiet companionship that Senior dogs are especially known for. We are willing to test My Girl Cherie, aka Mya with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Story
Meet Abbey LIverpool! She is currently 7 months old, and we think she may be a Boxer/Pittie mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Abbey's video here: It will just take one look into Sweet Abbey's soulful liquid eyes to see what a delicate charmer this girl is. Abbey's ears will tell you everything you need to know - when she's feeling shy, when she's interested in a treat, and when she's most in need of a cuddle and snuggle (which we live for, lol). Abbey loves soft stuffies and squeaky toys, but will forego all of that for belly rubs or lap time with you. (Don't tell her that she doesn't fit in your lap, because she doesn't endorse that kind of negativity, lol. If any part of her sits, she fits.) Abbey is currently in a loving foster home with her two sisters and loves to play and nap with her siblings. This gorgeous girl is quite mellow and laid-back and we admire her loving and gentle personality (and we know you will too). Abbey is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/676d739b43fd1cb89a026ac2 Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Tootsie Pop is sweeter than her namesake and twice as cute! We believe Tootsie is a Black Lab, Boxer mix, though she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Tootsie is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at a slight 49 pounds, the perfect size for lap sitting. Fall in love with Tootsie here: https://youtu.be/gUOPnVcb2aU?feature=shared Tootsie is currently fostered in a loving home with two big pitties and two tiny chihuahuas. She does well with everyone in the house- playful with the pups that wish to play, and respectful and kind toward the grumpier, older pups that wish for peace. Here at the rescue, she did wonderfully with the other dogs she met. Her joyful energy even got a rarely playful long-stay-rescue-dog to play chase with her! In her forever home, we think a goofy male would be the best doggy-sibling match for her. Her foster mom brags that she is crate trained and seems to be fully potty trained- she does not have accidents indoors. She does well in her crate and will go in for a little treat! Tootsie is super smart, she knows “sit” and she’s picking up on leash training quickly. She will need a confident leash walking human to teach her the ropes, she’s new to the whole “well loved dog” thing, but eager and excited to learn. A huge fan of the finer things in life, Tootsie loves toys. Nylabones, stuffies, chews- you name it! She shares her toys well with the other dogs in the home too. While we haven’t seen Tootsie with kids just yet, we think she would be an amazing family dog for a home with kids 10+. She loves going places with her foster family, and has met kids at events and done well with them. From the moment you meet her, Tootsie is such a warm and friendly pup with so much love to give. She is so confident in new places, and always ready for the next adventure- now she’s ready for her forever home. We think Tootsie would do best in a house over an apartment. We believe she would enjoy a more active family that will take her places and spend time with her. We don’t recommend her for a home with kitties. Tootsie is everything you could want in a dog, and she’s ready to be yours! We are willing to test Tootsie with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
