Meet our male littermate Ferrari and his female siblings Mercedes, Porsche, and Sweet Jane. They are 6 1/2-month-old mixes of Shar-Pei and Retriever, currently weighing between 14-18 pounds with estimated mature weights of 45 pounds. These pups wear medium-length solid black coats except for Mercedes and Porsche, who have some white markings on their chests. They enjoy playing with other dogs and toys and have recently discovered their love of water. Adopt one of these pups and surround yourself with a lifetime of sweetness and happiness! (ME, 5/5/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Mira is a 5-7 year old Shar Pei mix. We adopted her from the Spotsylvania County Animal Shelter about 3 years ago. She has been our sweet and loving companion ever since. Her two favorite things in the world are cuddling and playing with us. She is a moderate energy dog, who is just as happy going on long walks or playing fetch as she is cuddled up next to us on the couch. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She does tend to get protective of her house and her people, and she will need some training to help her unlearn that habit. Unfortunately, I became disabled last year and I can no longer take care of her in the way she needs. She's a wonderful dog and I hope to place her in a loving home. She gets along great with other dogs. We don't have cats or kids, so we don't know her tempermant around them. We were working on training her, but my disability has made it difficult to keep up with. If you are looking for a sweet adult dog, Mira is your new best friend!

I am a sweet girl who greets my foster mom with the biggest body wiggle every time I see her. With my extremely short coat, I am also low shedding.I'm doing great with the other dogs here and I love nothing better than to play chase in the yard and wrestle with them. I'm doing well on a leash and I'm house-trained. I recently attended several adoption events and was polite greeting other dogs and friendly towards people there and did great in the car. My foster brought home a litter of 10 week old puppies and I have been very nurturing towards them. Playing with them, snuggling them and watching over them. I have also been good with all the kids I have met. One of my favorite things to do is to watch Bluey with my Foster's granddaughter.
