You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- REBEL IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Rebel is a very laid back girl who is unfortunately losing her home because her family is being told to move.  She is very overweight and would love to go to a home where she can get some exercise and weight management to return back to a healthy weight. She is good with children and other dogs, but we don't know how she is with cats. Her dog friend, Chloe, is also listed on our website and is looking for a home. Rebel is microchipped and spayed and will need to be brought up to date on rabies vaccination. If you are interested in adopting, or possibly even temporarily fostering, Rebel, please fill out an application at www.reachoutrescue.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 8:28 pm

Story
Meet LincolnLincoln wasn`t supposed to be here this long.He originally came to the shelter as a temporary housing case, with the hope that he would soon be reunited with the life he knew. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and now Lincoln finds himself searching for a new beginning. While we don`t know much about his past, what we do know is that Lincoln has a heart full of love and is ready to share it with someone special. He greets new people with enthusiasm, enjoys making friends, and is always happy to soak up attention from anyone willing to give it.Lincoln appears to be housebroken and is looking for a family that can help him continue learning the basics. He would benefit from structure, consistency, and a confident handler who can guide him as he settles into his new home. Like many dogs experiencing big life changes, he`s still learning what his future looks like.At this time, his compatibility with cats, dogs, and children is unknown. What isn`t unknown is his desire to connect with people and be part of a family again.Lincoln didn`t ask for his world to change, but he`s doing his best to face each day with a wagging tail and an open heart. Now all he needs is someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves.Could that someone be you?64 lbs.If you are interested in meeting Lincoln, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–4 PMThursday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–6:30 PMSaturday: 9 AM–1 PMIf you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property. Story
Meet Bella — your calm, cozy, snuggle-loving best friend 🤍🐾 Bella is a 4-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul and the silliest little personality. She’s the kind of dog who brings a peaceful, comforting energy into your home… and then makes you smile with her adorable blanket “nesting” habits (seriously—she LOVES making herself a cozy little spot 😂). Bella is housebroken and crate trained, and she settles beautifully—especially at night. Once she’s comfy, she sleeps like a dream and won’t budge! She’s also wonderful on a leash, walking calmly by your side, and already knows “sit” and “stay.” This girl is all about the simple joys: soft blankets, quiet moments, and being close to her person. She LOVES to snuggle and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Her gentle nature makes her such an easy, comforting companion. Bella gets along well with other dogs, especially ones that match her calm vibe. High-energy small dogs aren’t really her thing, but she does great with respectful, easygoing companions.

Six of his siblings have found furever homes, but he and his brother, Muttley, are still searching. He is a resilient and brave dog, having had a scar on his back and an umbilical hernia as a pup, which have both been corrected and proven no further complications. Scrappy loves to run, play, and explore, and would be a good companion for hiking trips and other outdoor activities. He is very food motivated (and prefers to eat alone) and could use some obedience/leash training paired with regular play time and exercise. He enjoys making friends with humans and dogs alike and would make a wonderful dog for an active family. Could he be the one for you?   For more information, contact the phone number above or to apply, our adoption application link is: https://forms.office.com/r/qpqJJH6CD2 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 20, 2026, 11:26 pm

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meet Molly, a Love-A-Bull gem  You would never guess that Molly is 13 years young. With a zest for life, the classic wiggly pittie butt, and a twinkle of wonder in her chocolate brown eyes, Molly paints the perfect picture of what a man’s best friend should be. With her unwavering loyalty to her people, and her subtly sweet ways of showing love when you need it most, Molly is guaranteed to be your perfect sidekick. Molly loves a good game of tug of war; and will play round after round if you “let her win.” She also has  a fondness for her stuffed animal “babies.” They are her prized possessions. She enjoys playing her favorite self led game of “how fast can I get to the squeaker in my squeaky toy”, always aiming to beat her prior best score. Molly would never turn down an offer to play a quick game of frisbee. She may be a senior pup, but is young at heart with a playful spirit  Molly is sweetly demeanored, has a gentleness with children, and has lived calmly with feline friends prior to coming to FLR. However, she has fear aggression with other dogs, and will need to be the only dog in her new household. Molly is a strong girl! She will pull hard on her leash when excitable.  A  private or fenced in yard is a requirement for her to safely exercise and get her zoomies out. An ideal home for Molly would be in a rural area where she can live worry free of canine neighbors, and enjoy all that country life has to offer her. Molly may have plenty of pep left in her step, but she is a world class cuddler once tuckered out. She would love nothing more than to curl up beside you in bed. Relaxing and being a couch potato along with her people is Molly’s favorite way to end the day. While Molly isn’t a fan of seeing other dogs on her adventures, she loves car rides! She would love to be your passenger princess on a ride through Apple country.  Molly takes treats gently, knows a few basic commands such as sit, and is eager to please. Her people mean the world to her; she does not like to be away from them for long. A family that is home often would be most suitable for her. Molly is currently residing in a local foster home, but meetings with her can be easily arranged. Let’s find this sweet rednosed beauty the perfect home that she so very much deserves. Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue AFFECTIONATE AND PLAYFUL My name is Star. My estimated date of birth is 7/22/2021. I am very affectionate! I love to be the center of attention, and won't allow you much personal space. I enjoy lounging and will sit on your lap. I am energetic and enjoy playing. I am a black and white Pit Bull. I am 85 lbs. Due to my size, I would do best in a home without young children or frail adults. I am good with older, considerate children. *** A courtesy post means this cat is NOT a part of Forever Love Rescue. We are trying to help a fellow rescuer find a home for this cat. We accept the adoption application, assist in processing the application, and then all communication will be handled by the private rescuer onwards. We do not attest to the information they provide, or to the health or vet care of the cat.
