Story
Sasha is a gorgeous 5-year-old Shar-Pei mix with an energetic personality. She loves to run around outside in the yard and can be very friendly when she warms up to someone. It takes her time to trust a human companion and she can be very particular about where she is touched. In her first home, Sasha did well with older children, and would be compatible in a home with kids 12 and up. She tends to be protective about her space and is not friendly with all the dogs Four Footed Friends has seen her interact with. With the proper time and patience Sasha would make a dog owner very lucky and happy. She also knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Gunther is a 15 week old, male puppy born at the rescue with 5 siblings after his Mother and whom we presume is the Father were brought to the reascue together as strays. His Mother appears to be a Shar-pei maybe Terrier mix and presumed Father a Lab mix. Gunther is your typical healthy, happy, puppy who is ready for his forever family. We’re working on his basic commands and he already knows outside, in, sit, and bed — smart boy!   Manny is full of energy and excitement, which sometimes means he jumps and does little playful nips when he gets overstimulated. Hi I’m Marabell! I am a 9-month-old Shar-Pei. I am the perfect medium size at almost 40lbs and I won’t get much bigger. My story started in a hoarding situation then an outside pen at a shelter. Now I am living the good life in a foster home. I’ve discovered the joys of napping in soft places and sunbathing in the grass. I’ve learned that toys are fun and belly rubs feel great!  My foster mom says I’m a smarty pants! I picked up house training and sitting for treats quickly and I do great in my crate. I am still learning to trust that new people and new dogs are safe so I need a family who will be patient with me. I get too excited around little humans so I am looking for a home without kids. I am getting the hang of going for walks but I would love a fenced yard to play in while I work on being brave. I am a very athletic girl and with more training and confidence I would make an excellent adventure companion. After getting my energy out, I love to spend my evenings snuggling.  I can’t wait to find my forever family who can help me continue to thrive! ##2541447##

Story
This is Thor, He is such a good boy, the sad thing is. Myself and all my kids can't touch him. I don't know what it is but when we bond with him as all our skin breaks out in a rash. He is so nice and behaves so good. He is house trained, and he gets along with our other shar-pei and our cat, and of course my children. I just feel so bad he gives me these really sad looks like he wants rubbins but I can't provide them. At one point I was wearing gloves to give him pets. It's just not the same and he deserves someone that can give him a loving life! He was born on Thanksgiving 11-27-22, He is Akc registered but we don't have the papers yet because the breeder requires he be fixed prior to that. He has a clean bill of health I do have vet paperwork. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Mick. I am a Shar pei mix and 9 months old. I came from WV with a broken hip. I had my surgery and now I am doing amazing. I also got neutered and microchipped. I live with a foster furr brother and furr sister. I need slow introductions when being introduced. I love playing with my foster brother so much. My sister is old so she doesn't play but I sure do try. I don't sleep in a crate but have my safe area where I sleep during the night. I don't make any noise and am such a good boy at bedtime. When I need time away, I curl up in my bed and snuggle. My foster mom says I have a cute wiggly butt with a cute dance I do when I see her. I can't help it. I love her and get excited. My foster dad is amazing too. It took a little longer to warm up to him but I am so thankful he allowed me to warm up on my time. I am working on housetraining but doing great. I do have some puppy energy but can chill out as well. My perfect home would be with a family who is patient and has a furr sibling I can play with. I could be an only dog but prefer a furr sibling. I also recommend older kids like teens or an adult only home. When being introduced to new people, I can get very nervous so slow introductions would be appreciated. I am great on a leash and love walks. I would love a fenced in yard so I can run around and get my energy out but its not neccessary. Could you be my forever family? ##2541450##
