Story
Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 43 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Honey is being treated for an ear infection, and is on some high quality food and fish oil to clean up her skin. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat is cleaning up slowly with good food and some antibiotics. She came to us with a pretty patchy coat. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Meet our distinguished Baron, a true connoisseur of the finer things in life like long naps in sunbeams, gentle ear scratches, and not lifting a paw more than necessary. He is the definition of low-maintenance: calm, sweet-natured, and perfectly content to just be near his people.   At his age, he has traded zoomies for snoozies, and honestly, who could blame him? This older fellow carries his lumps and bumps with dignity - his doctors say they are cancer, but he hasn't let that dim his spirit. He is still full of love and ready to pour it into the lucky family who opens their home to him.   Bath time? He's a champ. Nail trims? Not a problem. In fact, he is about as close to spa-day perfect as it gets! Check out this cutie! She is tiny at only 30 ish pounds.    She was quickly made adoptable at the maricopa shelter which rarely happens with Shar Pei. She loves everyone she meets.  She loves car rides and jumps right in the car. House training is a non issue. She did great for her first bath! She has had her Entropion surgery and spay. This girl is social and has loved play dates with friends. She is great with bossy females and males. Crate training was a non issue but is totally fine being left home alone.  December 4, 2025, 10:30 pm

Are you looking for some Gucci Gucci Goo? This distinguished gentleman is new to rescue and is amazing!! He is great with other dogs both big and small. He is an overall happy guy that just loves being loved on! This guy is just as likely to run up to his foster dad as he is to his foster mom. He is already neutered but will have Entropion surgery prior to adoption.  We have him listed as 7 but we are not quite sure that number is accurate. He seems much younger!
