Scrappy, about 50 lbs About me: My wrinkles may be minimal, but my heart is huge. I'm playful, affectionate, and always down to make new dog friends or join a game in the yard. But my real love language? Finding the coziest heated blanket in the house and melting into it like the snuggle champion I am. I'll happily switch between playmate and professional cuddle buddy — whatever you need. My résumé: House trained â Know sit, lay down, stay, and leave it â Great with kids â Self-appointed security guard — I take 'protect and serve' seriously and have been known to hop the child gate to greet visitors myself, especially new ones. (The gardeners are still on my watch list, sorry not sorry.) A few honest quirks, because I believe in full transparency on the first date: I pull a little on the leash (working on it). Car rides aren't my favorite — I'll whine the whole way, but I'm otherwise a good passenger. Thunderstorms make me nervous. Baths make me an Olympic sprinter, so we've switched to waterless ones. I can be crated, but I don't really enjoy it and tend to rub my nose. Lately I've just been hanging out loose on dog beds in the living room (and sneaking onto the big bed at night — don't tell). Looking for: Someone who'll keep a close eye on me (I'll be doing the same for you), doesn't mind a co-pilot who narrates every car ride, and has unlimited compliments about how handsome I am. He came to Rockwall Adoption Center in hopes of finding a family of his own, and this fun-loving guy is ready to make a splash. Literally. Buster loves to swim! Buster is a friendly, outgoing boy who enjoys going for walks, spending time with his people, and taking every opportunity he can to enjoy the water. He has done well with other dogs, although his play style can be rowdy and energetic. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure their personalities and play styles are a good match. Buster's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his basic annual vaccinations. Buster did test heartworm positive, but thanks to the generous donor, his heartworm treatment is sponsored.
