Hi, my name is Odin, and I'm looking for my forever family. I'm a one-year-old Shar-Pei with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At first, I might seem a little shy, but once I trust you, I'll want to be wherever you are. If you're cooking, I'm supervising. If you're watching TV, I'm cuddling beside you. If you're eating a snack... well, I'm hoping you'll share. I love being around my people. I'm the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and wants to be part of the family. Whether we're going for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or just hanging out at home, I'm happiest when I'm with someone I love. Like most Shar-Peis, I can be a little independent and stubborn sometimes, but that just means I have character. I know what I like, and I appreciate people who are patient and kind. Once we become friends, you'll have a loyal companion for life. My favorite things include treats, cozy places to nap, belly rubs, and spending time with my favorite humans.

I’m Little Nova- A supersonic sweetie pie of particle scale. I’m a 30 pound, 7 year old Shar Pei Pittie mix with a squishy face, a purple tongue, and a gravitational force that pulls everyone around me into my orbit. I have a light-year’s worth of amazing credentials but here are a few to get you started: I’m house trained and crate trained, but I’m a trustworthy girly with great house manners so I can be left out in the house while you’re gone. I get along great with other dogs and love to play with dogs around my size, and I love people (women and children are my favorite but I warm up to men super fast after a treat or two). I haven’t met a cat yet, but I do well with chickens. I love to go for walks (you should see the little dance I do when it’s walk time!). I'm great on a leash and my recall is rocketing toward perfection. I’m a big snuggler and will gravitate to you like an asteroid to a planet. Everyone who meets me loves me and my radiant personality and squishy face. When lots of people are around, I like to rotate from person to person to get as much love and attention as I can, which is easy to do because I’m so cute and my fur is velvety soft so everyone wants to pet me. Wilbur Baloo is a 2-year-old chocolate-colored Shar Pei, about 45 pounds of soft-hearted sweetness, available for adoption through Shar Pei Nation Rescue. He is located in Magna, UT. He came from a difficult situation where his former owner would not allow him inside the home. Because of that, he missed early comfort with indoor living, but he has since discovered it and absolutely loves being inside. Indoors is where he feels safest and happiest, where he can fully relax, rest, and stay close to his people. Outside is still a bit scary for him, but he is bravely building confidence every day. He is trying hard and making steady progress with patience and reassurance. Wilbur would likely do best in a home with another friendly dog to help him feel more secure and comfortable. He tends to relax more when he has a canine companion nearby. * Walks beautifully on leash like a polite little gentleman * Good with other dogs and calm around cats * Loves being indoors where he feels safe and content * Nervous about the outdoors, but gaining courage step by step * Can have nervous accidents while learning, but he is improving with time * Absolutely LOVES people and actively seeks affection * Trusts people and enjoys being close to them * Will lean into you for pets like it is the best part of his day * Makes the cutest little “gibberish talk” sounds when he wants attention * Loves soft, fluffy toys and gentle play * In the shower, he cries the sounds of his people while being washed, but he will lie down patiently and calmly accepts bath time. He is also used to having his ears cleaned and handles it well with gentle care Wilbur is a sweet, gentle boy who is learning every day that the world can be safe, kind, and full of love.
