Story
We are needing to re-home our sweet Lily. She has had a hard time adjusting to life with a toddler and we just haven’t been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. She will be 10 in October and gets along fine with our other small dog. Completely house trained and will tolerate new dogs and people. She does have allergies that require a daily medication and medicated food. She is really a sweet girl and we want her to go to a good home. Please reach out with any questions.

Story
Mighty Mike is one of the brave dogs we rescued from the devastating Texas floods, and now he needs YOU. When Mike first arrived, he was absolutely terrified. Everything was unfamiliar, and the world felt scary. But every single day, he's becoming a little more confident. Now he gets so excited to see his people and eagerly looks forward to his daily walks. Watching him come out of his shell has been incredible. ❤️ The heartbreaking part? Mike is still living in boarding. While we're grateful he's safe, boarding is no place for a dog to heal and truly thrive. He deserves a warm bed, loving people, and a chance to experience what home feels like. We believe Mike is a Shar Pei/German Shepherd mix Sweet and making amazing progress every day Ready to continue blossoming in a foster or foster-to-adopt home Please help us give this deserving boy the second chance he's been waiting for. If you can open your heart and home, apply to foster or foster-to-adopt Mighty Mike today! Apply here: https://mountainmamapyrs.rescuegroups.org Please share this post—his future family may see it because of you. ❤️ #FosterNeeded #FosterToAdopt #TexasFloodRescue #RescueDog #MountainMamaPyrsAndPups #SaveALifeVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 18, 2026, 11:32 am

Story
Wilbur Baloo is a 2-year-old chocolate-colored Shar Pei, about 45 pounds of soft-hearted sweetness, available for adoption through Shar Pei Nation Rescue. He is located in Magna, UT. He came from a difficult situation where his former owner would not allow him inside the home. Because of that, he missed early comfort with indoor living, but he has since discovered it and absolutely loves being inside. Indoors is where he feels safest and happiest, where he can fully relax, rest, and stay close to his people. Outside is still a bit scary for him, but he is bravely building confidence every day. He is trying hard and making steady progress with patience and reassurance. Wilbur would likely do best in a home with another friendly dog to help him feel more secure and comfortable. He tends to relax more when he has a canine companion nearby. * Walks beautifully on leash like a polite little gentleman * Good with other dogs and calm around cats * Loves being indoors where he feels safe and content * Nervous about the outdoors, but gaining courage step by step * Can have nervous accidents while learning, but he is improving with time * Absolutely LOVES people and actively seeks affection * Trusts people and enjoys being close to them * Will lean into you for pets like it is the best part of his day * Makes the cutest little “gibberish talk” sounds when he wants attention * Loves soft, fluffy toys and gentle play * In the shower, he cries the sounds of his people while being washed, but he will lie down patiently and calmly accepts bath time. He is also used to having his ears cleaned and handles it well with gentle care Wilbur is a sweet, gentle boy who is learning every day that the world can be safe, kind, and full of love. Hi there! I'm a 1-year-old Boxer girl weighing 53 pounds, and I'm pretty sure I'm the perfect combination of cute face, goofy personality, and extra wrinkles! I'm young, sweet, and ready to find my forever people. I'm still figuring out this whole "being a dog" thing, but I'm sure snacks, naps, and a comfy couch will help with my education. At 53 pounds, I have officially graduated from lap dog status... although I strongly disagree with that decision. If you're looking for a fun-loving Boxer with plenty of personality and a face that deserves its own fan club, come meet me! *Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 53 Age: 1yrs 0mths 4wks
